I recently had a surgery through this practice. The nurses and doctors were beyond amazing - I cannot say enough great things about those individuals. However, the business office, surgery counselors and billing department have been less than pleasurable to work with. There were some discrepancies between the billing office and the surgery counselor when I was quoted certain financial amounts. When communicating with them, they became very hostile and demanding, without being understanding and accommodating. After my follow ups are finalized, I will not be recommending them to anyone who might be looking into getting anything done in the future simply because of the interactions I experienced with some of the office staff. read more

Cataract surgery done by this group and some medical procedures on my eyelid twice. Top of the line professionals and great follow up.

The Doctors were good but I was quoted with $1,900 out of pocket for cataract surgery with new corrective lens and was charged double. That's a problem. My optometrist contacted them and was told I would get a refund. I've called and talked to them but nothing. I would avoid this group (in all their locations as this seems to be a policy issue). Plenty of other good doctors in DFW area. You will be happier with one of them. read more

RE: CELL PHONE vs BECOMING MY MOTHER! I brought my 85 year old friend here this morning. Very spacious, beautiful and large waiting area. I would say I am a little edgy bringing him here. I worry about this friend. We have adopted him and take him to our Thanksgiving, Christmas and celebrate his birthday. As of today I can officially say: I HAVE BECOME MY MOTHER! With that being said, I prefer NOT to listen to a private cell phone conversation. For 20 minutes, I heard about his house closing, I assume he was talking to a friend. How he couldn't have lunch today because he was taking care of his Dad. Blah, blah, blah, I didn't want to change my seating as my friend knew which section and where I would be when he came out. And it wouldn't of mattered as Mr. Blabber's loud voice traveled. This establishment has a lobby when you walk in with seating. Just out of common courtesy it would of been nice had he sat there while he told us ALL his information. I have nothing against taking a quick or urgent cell call when needed. But a full blown conversation that wasn't urgent could of waited. I am sure I will be returning with my dear friend. Next time I will come prepared, with ear pods or my gun range ear muffs! Amazing cataract removal from start 12/24 to now. I had some floaters recently, I was able to get in to have them taken care of. The staff is great, thorough and nice. Can't recommend them enough! Dr. Bossum and Harris are great. read more

They are very organized and good. Dr Lehman is awesome All the techs are first class and explain everything.

I visited RGB and saw Dr. Bossen. The girl who ran all the initial exams was great. Very nice and walked through me what to expect. I did the exams and then was taken to the lobby where about 5 minutes later I was called and taken into the doctor's exam room. While waiting for the doctor a different nurse asked me some questions. She was a tad dry. She asked me if my doctor had done my pressures the day before I was told to do a follow up w/ RGB. I asked her about how a pressure test was done and was replied with "I don't know, I wasn't there"... I was a little taken aback and thought it was somewhat rude. If I asked the question it was because I didn't know. I don't know enough about how eye procedures are done to know for sure what is what. Other than the dry in personality nurse the visit went good. Dr. Bossen was very nice did his own exam and detailed in what my results were. I have a yearly follow-up visit which I will go to at RGB. read more

I had a issue with my eye and got in right away. I ended up seeing dr Lehman and he is a really nice guy. I do not have insurance but he was understanding and willing to work with me which says a lot about his care for his patients. From now on he is my go to guy for eye care. read more

I really loved that they were all very caring and careful with my grandmother whom went for cataract surgery for both of her eyes.

I had cataract surgery performed by Doc Burlingame back in 2014. I was impressed with his expertise and manner he was a fantastic and informative doctor. I returned to RGB in early 2017 because of a cataract forming in my other eye. By this time I guess Burlingame had retired. This time the experience was not the same, they were indifferent and were just interested in getting as much money out of me as they could. I did not have a warm fuzzy feeling and cancelled my scheduled surgery. Still have the cataract and looking for another doctor. read more

I had eye surgery in 2016.I had cataracts removed and had the lasik to improve my vision.I was told I would only need reading glasses and my far vision would be good.That surgery was the worst decision I ever made.I have to have glasses for far and near.I had to go to Dr. Carter after for some correction.Insurance did not pay for any of these surgeries. read more

RGB NIGHTMARE. YOU NEED SOMEONE THAT WILL BE THERE WHEN THINGS GO BAD!!! Had 20/20 vision in both eyes. Went to RGB because I was seeing new tiny floaters in my left eye. Dr. Bossen Zapped eye with laser and I was BLIND the next day in the eye. Couldn't even see my hand in front of my face. Dr. Bossen was too busy to return my calls had his secretary call me and told me to go to Dallas specialist. After 2 months of blindness in the eye from blood continuing to flow into eye from laser I had to do retina Vitrectomy Surgery in Dallas. BUT with this surgery also comes cataract in a year. Sent letter to RGB to asking them to do free cataract surgery in the eye they refused. I'm going back to Dallas to do cataract surgery next month, i'm out another $5,000.00 before insurance deductible. read more
