We engaged TWM for what we hoped would be a straightforward survey of our property. They were…read morerecommended to us by a contractor we were working with. Despite the estimate which was on the higher end of those we received, we elected to proceed with TWM based on that recommendation and our desire to have things done right the first time around. Unfortunately, work that should have taken several weeks (per TWM's communication) took more than two months. Communication with regard to the delay was non-existent and when it did come, made us feel that our "little" project just wasn't important to them. No apologies for the delay that set us back more than a month. I found it funny that in our final invoice they threaten to charge additional interest for accounts more than 30 days late. If only they applied they same standard to their work... Would urge readers to work with someone who values them. I truly hope we are the exception, not the rule.

She went outside to ask why he was damaging our lawn, and he explained that he was performing a survey for a house four doors away from ours. I asked my wife to put me on the phone with him, and I told him he did not have permission to dig in our yard and asked him to leave the property. I then called the owner of the company, who argued that her surveyor has the legal right to enter private property and dig if necessary to complete a survey. That is not completely true. It is only true if there is no other way to complete the survey. My biggest issue is that no one knocked on the door beforehand to explain what they were doing or why it was necessary. They just helped themselves to my front yard. Even after my wife asked him what he was doing, he gave vague and dismissive answers and went back to digging. After we kicked the surveyor off our property, he was able to continue the survey without the use of our yard. This proves that our property was not necessary for the completion of the survey. There is a big difference between "necessary" and "convenient." Property rights are important and homeowners deserve communication and professionalism.

Ontop of that, they even tried to blame my dog for the issues I am having so they can try to get money out of me, the renter. They took two months to come out and seal my door, which takes 5 minutes. I live in the Dayton, OH area, about a five to six hour drive away, so travelling to the house on a regular basis was not convenient. Rob and his entire staff went far beyond what was required to sell the house; to include recommending specific upgrades to modernize the house fixtures for sale (he even texted photos of specific model light fixtures that would help the resale value), coordinating schedules with various contractors to allow them access to the home, and just checking on the property on a nearly daily basis. The previous owner was a smoker, and Rob worked tirelessly to eradicate the stubborn smell of cigar smoke so that the house would be appealing to non-smokers. After several months of work, we had a house that looked, felt and smelled like new construction, and recently sold to become a home for a new family for a good price. When I was initially looking for a realtor, I interviewed several in the area that were recommended online and by reputation within the realtor community. After selecting Rob, another realtor that I had interviewed but did not select asked me why I did not select her. I explained to her all that Rob offered to do since I was not in the local area to help make this long-distance home sale easier for me. She openly admitted that she would not have done any of the extra things that Rob Cole offered to do - and then did - to make this sale happen more quickly and easily. I called him next day and had to leave a message. I called him back the day after thinking he was busy and he said he had not contacted them yet. I called another agent after two days of waiting to hear from Rob Cole to get things moving and found out that the house was sold yesterday and I had missed my chance to buy my dream home. I would never use Rob Cole or any company he works for.
