I am surprised at the poor reviews of Dr. Khaleghi and his office. I thought he was very thorough…read moreand kind. I saw a few glimpses of a sense of humor too. I saw him at the Tustin office. The office was very nice and so was the staff. I did not have to wait long at all in the office to see him. I have more tests to get and a followup appointment in a month. I definitely feel he's competent, and I trust he knows what he's doing.

These repeated mistakes caused unnecessary delays in getting my medication. I tried several times to follow up regarding the authorization, but most of the time, no one answered the phone. When I finally went to the office in person because I couldn't get a response, instead of helping me, a staff member named Maria raised her voice at me and told me that I was "bothering" them by coming into the office to follow up. The patient is already in pain and dealing with the stress of not receiving their medication, yet the staff are yelling at them and saying that following up on the authorization is "bothering" the personnel. A patient should never be made to feel like a burden simply for trying to get the medication and care they need. Patients should not have to repeatedly chase a medical office to correct errors in important insurance paperwork, especially when those errors can delay access to medication. At the very least, patients deserve accurate paperwork, clear communication, and respectful treatment.

She addressed 100% of my questions and was personable enough. She seems knowledgeable and very professional. She is the type of doctor that tests before she pushes a drug which puts her at an advantage to other Doctors in my eyes. I don't like the trial an error method that many physicians use when treating their patients. It's dangerous and careless. Dr. King did thorough testing before she diagnosed and prescribed. Specifically, she discussed respiratory problems and fertility challenges. I felt that she met and perhaps exceeded my expectations of my office visit. I visited her at Irvine Odyssey, so perhaps it is fair to also give feedback on the office as well. It's clean, modern, warm, and most importantly efficient. I don't think I waited more than 5 minutes. I hate that awkward feeling that you get when you're in that uncomfortable hospital gown, the waiting room is cold, and you just keep wondering if you should take your socks off too?... there wasn't too much of that during my visit. It was easy to make any appointment. Although the front desk was busy, which made for a less warming welcome- you can tell that they work like the old school type offices where the doctor interacts with the staff and everyone keeps informed and on the same page. I should've given this review 3 weeks ago after my initial visit... but it wasn't until now that I got the chance to. I just called today because I needed information about allergy testing and Dr. King talked to me on the phone. She sounded rushed- which makes sense because she didn't make me wait while I was in the waiting room, others shouldn't have to either. I would've liked to have finished my sentences- but I appreciate her taking the phone in the first place. I would recommend you seeing her- and if you're the type of person that requires extensive time during an office visit, ask the front desk to schedule you during one of the SLOWEST times of the week. That's what I would do! As for me, I usually prepare a list of questions- do research at home- and I show up prepared to listen to the Dr. and learn.

One year in particular, I flew back from Thanksgiving and caught a nasty flu on the flight over. Not sure what to do, I went to the walk-in clinic (at Dr. King's old location) she was incredibly helpful and also understood my non-health insurance (meaning potentially expensive) situation and she was incredibly helpful. She also helped write a few notes for my local GP (UK doctor). Since then, I have visited Dr. King once more in her new offices and they look great. I've seen other Yelpers comment that she has a nice staff, which is true as well. I recommend Dr. King and her practice. Good luck and feel better!

So we (my husband and I) have been going to the Tongs for 5 months now, and I must admit that…read moresomething great is happening to our health, though I have no idea why except for the treatments we receive from East West Wellness. My husband lost his desire to drink alcohol. He also lost 10 lbs. And he exercises 6 days a week at the gym. His sciatic pain is gone, and he's healthier than ever before. For me, I use to have neck and back pain, took several prescription medications for mood, and had anger issues. Now, my pain is gone, I stopped all my medications and my anger is under control. The effectiveness of the treatment takes some time to kick in, but the change is nothing short of amazing. The negative review may be understandable when you meet senior Dr Tong. He's a very enthusiastic sales person with strong opinions. There may have been a misunderstanding or a miscommunication between that patient and Dr. Tong. Dr Tong's treatment of injecting a diluted mix of saline and Marcaine into meridians takes many weeks/months to be effective. Going twice won't work, imo. And, you have to take responsibility for your own health. Doing the same old thing won't work. Exercise, stretching, eating right, and going to the Tongs works. We wholeheartedly recommend the Drs Tong.

What won me over are political views! I don't like being prescribed a ton of pills. Dr Tong actually suggested some herbs . Gotta love that !
