He takes my bags and starts to weigh them and then says, "Yeah you know I can't give you full price because you have other things in them so I'm just gonna have to give you only $.10 a pound as tin." I think he's joking, as in like the other stuff that's inside that will just be weighed as tin. One bag had a tiny wad of aluminum foil and another bag had some metal clothes pins that could be made of brass, who knows. Less than 2% of the bag was non-aluminum cans, and this yokel starts explaining to me this policy because apparently I'm too stupid to understand that this business is charging customers for their labor. Meanwhile, we're standing next to an 8 foot tall mound of aluminum cans. The place is an absolute muddy mess, with cans and materials strewn about everywhere at the drop off point and you're going to actually stand there and lecture me about how you're gonna screw me out of a couple of dollars because there's a couple of clothes pins in there and a ball of foil? Are you serious, bro? Arguing that it's going to cost the company money in labor to go through the bags when you would have to go through the bags anyway is just plain insulting. They would devalue my contribution five times over because of a foil ball lol and one bag had some leaves in it, "Oh no! We can't have that!" I told the man working there that it's not his fault. He's just carrying out the policy, he's not the bad guy, but his corporate overlords are complete idiots. This is not the way to treat customers. I packed up my cans and left. I will never return to do business here.

May not be a lot of bucks, but it costs money to put trash in the dump, so make it a lighter load. Depending on what type of metal & how much you have you might be able to pay your dump bill. It's a bit chaotic in the lot. You have to be able to follow directions from the person at the gate & the person directing traffic on the scales. The only possible downside is that it's a scrap yard so watch where you drive, your tires will be in harms way.

I had a bad experience with this company. I scheduled the appointment online and listed all of my…read moreitems that needed to be picked up. The guys did not arrive on time. They were several hours late, and claimed they had to go trade out trucks before coming to my house. Unfortunately, the truck they brought was half full of cardboard. I was quoted one full truck price, but they soon discovered that all of my items wouldn't fit due to half the truck having cardboard already in it from somewhere else. Then they told me they would have to come back the next day. The next day they were late again, but loaded up the rest of my items. This time the guy who gave me the full truck quote wasn't with them. They told me that the price was for a truck and a 4th. This was more than I was quoted and disappointing, since I overheard the guy on the first day tell his boss on the phone that the truck was half full when they arrived. I questioned the guy on the 2nd day, but was told I had to pay more. I paid it, but immediately gave feedback to the company after. I received an email apologizing and that I would hear from the manager that day. I didn't! I reached out again and again I was told I would hear from the manager that day. I never heard from him, so I'm leaving this bad review. Do not call this company! They will scam you, like they did to me!
