I mean, it counted right (because I double-checked prior to insertion) but it just was so slowwwwwww. I liked that this was a contactless ATM - I had my Apple Watch and had never used it to use these ATMs, but this part made things super simple to start the transaction off right.

They have someone at the front desk to tries to greet you if he or she is not already helping someone. They always have enough tellers available so that even if there is a line, it moves quickly. Unexpected Account Closure and Loan Reversal After Providing Proof…read more I applied for a $5,000 personal loan with Rhinebeck Bank. The first application was denied for "not enough credit history." I then provided proof of a paid-off auto loan that Rhinebeck Bank had issued to me in the past, which they confirmed existed in their system (but was not showing on my credit report). After I provided proof of the paid-off loan, my application was approved with set terms. The next day, the bank reversed the decision and denied the same loan due to "misrepresentations" -- even though the bank acknowledged that the payment history they saw came from a third-party credit company, not from me. Shortly after, the bank closed the checking account I had just opened and sent a cease-and-desist letter. I was never accused of creating false documents -- only that the bank received them from another company. Based on my experience, I feel the bank handled the situation without clear communication or fairness. I would recommend anyone applying for loans here to document every step, because decisions can change suddenly without a clear explanation.

Once I arrived at the branch, the traffic was being regulated to ensure a safe environment. There weren't a ton of people just walking in and out. You also were required to wear a mask. Here's the best part. When I went in for my appointment, I was immediately taken to a notary and I was in and out within 5 mins. UNHEARD OF! I hate going to get documents notarized at other locations because I usually have to sit and wait for a while. Once I was even told there was no notary available after waiting for a while. Well today and I check and there it is - it states you can make extra payments to shorten your loan and interest. WOW!! So this wasn't their policy before? Was it legal? Were they lying to me? This is nothing to say about them depositing checks into wrong accounts, debit card charges going to incorrect accounts, deleting money in savings, etc etc. !! This has been across other family members accounts as well. They are inept, sneaky, unethical and probably more.
