But this Kingston, NY location came to the rescue. It's a small detour if we're heading to Woodstock and it's been a savior for those late-night purchases or pickups. I had purchased my fave Threshold brand sheet sets online about 5ish pm on a Friday and was able to pick them up easily here. And even though I didn't pick up my items within their "2hr/Your order is ready" slot, my purchases were waiting for me when I came here 20 minutes before closing. Thank you. The girls at the Pick Up area are sweet and totally helpful. Prices are great and as corny as it might sound, 'Target is my Happy place'.

I found this cashier to be very rude along with poor customer service. i find it odd because most of the employees here are recognizable are are very cordial and helpful, this girl was new and very rude!!

I spend thousands of dollars at this chain annually and NEVER had a bad experience there...until today. I wanted to return a swimsuit I had bought there exactly two weeks back. I did not have the receipt but the tags were all perfectly in place. it was obviously not worn and in the same condition I had bought it in. I got up to the register to return the suit and buy a few other items. as I did not have the receipt the cashier looked up my purchase using my credit card. First, she told me I could not return a swimsuit after one week. I explained I'd been ill and their return policy is one month. and frankly, there was no disclosure of this when I purchased the suit. The I was told I could not return the suit as it was "missing" the little tape that is supposed to keep the suit hygienic in the crotch area. I explained there had been no sanitary tape there. She called the manager on duty, who I will not name but he was a sad, angry man. He told her to not let the return go through due to the missing tape. I asked for him to come speak with me. He appeared and was nasty from the start. I asked his name and he gave me a smart aleck reply and also refused to give me the name of his district manager when it became apparent he was not going to listen to reason. I tried to explain the tape was missing when purchased and was told that every single bathing suit in Marshall's has that tape. We went back and forth but he refused to listen to me.He made several snarky remarks and walked away. He also said it was a NYS law to have the tape. It is not. He then rudely stood over me as I made my transaction as if I was some kind of problem. BTW the darn suit cost all of $19.99. After I was done at the register I walked to the swimsuit area. In just a few minutes I pulled 20 suits with no tape. The manager walked by and I showed him the 20 suits, including entire groups of the same style all with no tape. He again, refused to listen to me. I asked, how can you sell a suit without tape and expect it to be returned with tape? He made a rude remarks asking if I'd return my panties! I voiced that I was getting mad. He literally told me that the policy of the store is to not take suits back and suggested I had even worn the suit despite its pristine condition. How can a store not disclose their return policy, sell a suit without tape, and expect it to be returned with it?! Just as an FYI, I did not remove any tapes. The store has cameras and I found so many in a few minutes I didnt even think about it! Anyway, this manger said I was mad because I wasn't " getting my way" and then said I was "insane" and he was going to kick me out of "HIS"store. I left. I did tell this manager that would go to social media. And here I am. I never used profane language. I did try to hand him the unracked suits but he refused to take them and I placed them on a clothing rack. I am fuming about the treatment I received today. It is really such a shame because all I wanted was a store credit for an item that didn't fit properly.

Just before Christmas, I went into this store looking for a specific brand's product that I checked…read morein Walmart for but couldn't find. When I came in, although I found a product (with a barcode) that I took a picture of by the brand and with the features I was looking for (iHome with Qi-wireless charging), when I went to find the price on or near the package, none existed. Pass onto a few days later - a couple days after Christmas - I went back in -hoping the product would still be there. Only that one box was on the shelf, but the outer box was damaged. I had done the research on the product through websites such as Amazon and Walmart in the meantime, but knew I had to take a chance with finding it offline. The product was in one piece and the box was repairable (but damaged). After bringing it up acknowledging the "worst case price", when they told me it was on sale for $20 off, I was shell-shocked and paid lickety-split. But then they decided that this earned me a $10 Kohl's Cash certificate. (Was that to make up for the damaged box issue and the aggravation that would be caused by it?) They told me it was good starting in January (and I never did go back to retrieve something with it), and because I'm boycotting the paper bags, I asked for my receipt and out the door, I went - product in hand - happy I got what I was looking for - on a whim.

Big L. is probably one of the better discount stores for just about everything. From household products, health and beauty supplies, gardening, hobbyish things, etc, etc, etc, this place could probably satisfy your every need dirt cheap. Some shelves looked a bit bare, but some are nicely packed with so much stuff. Aisles are spotless and nothing is out of place. Service is super nice and this is another discount store where you can also sign up for their loyalty program and rack up points and other rewards for future shopping visits.

They have a wide selection of baby clothes and furniture. The first time we went there was no one sitting at the main desk at the baby registry and we had to wait a long time for someone to come over and help us out. I think this had to with there simply being no reason to have an employee sitting idly in the back for hours when they could be doing something more productive though. I also bought a coat from Burlington this year, and it is one of my favorites now. It took me a little while to find my size; sometimes their organization of sizes is confusing, and people don't always put things back in the right section. I needed to find a smaller size and the nice woman working in the coats department went in the back and checked for me, which was very nice. The coat was very cheap and good quality so I was very happy with my purchase. In fact, everything in Burlington is cheap and good quality. I could very well replace my entire wardrobe with clothes from here! Overall its a nice, clean store and I enjoy every visit.

In fact, she looked horrified that I was even asking for help. I guess it never occurred to her to ask another associate for assistance and she couldn't wait to get rid of me. I get that it's a challenging time to find good help, but c'mon, where's the manager to make sure customers are getting what they need? And are they doing any training of store associates or just showing them how to run the register and throwing them out there. Tractor Supply has a some products and pricing that Lowes and Home Depot don't have but their service is worse than the big box stores. Not worth my time trying to chase down uninformed and untrained associates. Goodbye!
