Our only experience with Atrium so far has been a visit from a man who took pictures and then left. He promised to have someone else contact us with an estimate--so far we have not heard from them and it has been at least two weeks ago--we were told it would be the next day for the estimate. Contacted Atrium to have our metal roof checked for leaks. We knew there was at least one vent stack that leaked back in the spring and since our house had a lot of neglected maintenance on it when we purchased it, we figured this would be something that needed to be addressed. Sure enough, they said basically all of the intrusions needed to be re-sealed, gave an estimate and I told them to let me know when they could schedule us. There was a miscommunication where they sent someone to our house the next day without scheduling because they thought we said it was an emergency. I had to call and tell them to re-schedule because no one could be home on such short notice. They did and showed up as scheduled the next week, did the work and cleaned up after. I was doing something in my attic when we noticed a large wet spot near the chimney. I was surprised, as I had had roofing work done in the same area several times. Unfortunately, it seems the prior repairs had overlooked a 4" diameter hole in the roof right at the base of the chimney. Apparently, racoons had made themselves very comfortable in my attic some years ago, when I had the house rented. Thankfully, Juan Chapa and the crew from Atrium were available. He walked around the roof in the areas close to the leak, and talked me through several possible scenarios and gave me a quote. After checking with my insurance company [they said the repair cost was below my deductible), I hired Atrium. As Juan told me, the crew showed up bright and early one morning, and started work. They took copious pictures of their findings as they removed flashing and shingles, and sure enough they found the damaged plywood. In a few hours they had replaced the damaged plywood, shingles and flashing, and cleaned up the site. I was impressed with their speed, their obvious knowledge of what was required, and the way they picked up after they were done. Needles to say I was very pleased. Surprisingly, when I offered them a little cash to buy their lunch, the crew leader told me that wasn't necessary. How often do you find workers refusing a small tip? When I knew that my roof was going to need replacement, I reached out to several roofing companies (because that's the smart thing to do), and with each discussed what needed to be done, recent events, etc. Andres at Atrium was straightforward and honest, noting recent weather issues that made my situation likely insurance related, possible code issues with the replacement, etc. After speaking with him, I took this to my insurance, who initially shortchanged the claim, but got this resolved appropriately after working with Andres related to the situation. Fast forward about a month (couple weeks for the insurance, then add in material issues related to the pandemic and all that), and Atrium came out to replace our roof. In the process, one of the delivery trucks with the materials did cause some damage to my driveway (hence the delay in this review, as I wanted to see how they'd handle the situation before giving a full review). Andres came back and worked with the company responsible for material delivery on this, and while that company didn't repair the driveway damage themselves, they did work with their insurance about such, and I'm confident that Atrium did their part to make that right. Add to this their professionalism throughout the process, the almost perfect cleanup (they left one branch that they cut down to make room from a nearby tree), and this was almost exactly what one should be looking for in a roofer. Overall I'd rate them 4.9/5 stars, but since I can't do partials, I'll round up to 5. I'd highly recommend considering Atrium for your roofing needs. read more

I worked with Andres on a very reasonably priced gutter install for a new home in April 2022. After over a year, I started noticing that the downspouts were changing colors. Two of them were also redirecting water in undesirable directions. I reached out to Andres about it, and within a few days he sent over a crew to replace every downspout in a single afternoon; no questions asked. The crew didn't leave any mess at all in the yard, and they even reconfigured all of the downspouts so that they are more efficient. They also look a lot better on the eyes. One week ago, I asked Atrium to come out and bid on a new roof, and I was surprised to find the owner at my front door: Jose Puente. I immediately felt comfortable with Jose. He wasn't a high-pressure salesman. He took his time analyzing our roof's dimensions and was very honest with me. His bid was competitive, and so I gave them a chance. We have a big roof on our home, and it took his crew 3 1/2 days to complete. I felt like they really took their time and made sure that everything was done right. Jose had some extra high profile ridge cap shingles from a previous job - and the color was a good match for our home - so he gave us a free upgrade by including those at no additional charge. He also replaced rotten fascia and made sure that the paint matched the existing paint job on the other fascia just right, and the result looks spectacular. read more

I hired Atrium roofing to repair my roof due to leaking water. They charged me over $2000 to do the repairs. Several months later, the leaking started again in the same place and I asked them to fix the problem area as should have been covered by their warranty. They said that the entire roof needed to be replaced and wanted to charge me an additional $5500. I had two separate roofers inspect my roof. Both of these other roofers said that the repairs maid by Atrium roofing were shoddy and could not be expected to prevent leaks for more than a month or two. So the money I spend with Atrium was a complete waste and I now need to pay another roofer to fix the shoddy work from Atrium. read more
