I purchased Thomas Avenue Ceramics pool tiles through Wayfair, and they began falling out less than…read morea year after installation. I have had several installers verify we are using the correct adhesive and grout, but the tiles fall out, leaving the colored portion on the back stuck to wash out later. I spent several month with Wayfair, but because it was just over 1 year since purchase, they directed me to the manufacturer. (NOTE: Wayfair also update the name and description to remove any mention of "pool") I spoke with the manager, Justin M. in March & April & May, providing all backup information, including the name/description change. He agree that the tile was rated for pool use, but must have been defective or incorrectly listed as such and was going to issue me a refund and identify a replacement tile. Each time, I was told I'd receive a call back within an hour or a day with the refund and solution and each time, I was ghosted. After reaching out probably 10 times and being told last Saturday that Justin would call me back within the hour, I never heard from him again. Today, I learned that he is no longer with the company, Lanka Tiles, which purchase Thomas Avenue Ceramics. He let me know that the new parent company washes their hands of their product once it is sold through Wayfair, but I'm still trying (starting over) with all the information provided to Wayfair, Justin and now Lanka Tiles.

I have been almost 3 months trying to get the correct tile I ordered from Thomas Avenue Ceramics…read morevia Wayfair. The first delivery was the wrong tile. Wayfair referred me to TAC. Justin Malloy, at TAC, apologized and said he would replace it with the correct tile. The second delivery arrived and again was still the wrong tile. After a great deal of effort, I finally reached Justin again. He apologized again and promised to send the correct tile-he would personally check it. That was almost a month ago. I never got the tile and now no one answers the phone, no one responds to my texts, emails, or messages on their FB and website. I finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. While I was finally refunded, I am so very upset because I really, really wanted this tile. It's hard to understand how any company stays in business like this.
