Always has a smile on her face when visitors arrive. Every staff member we met was welcoming. Great food at the restaurant, which starts serving at 11 a.m, with reasonable prices. Everything we've been served there was delicious and served at the right temperature. There's also a snack bar with delicious confections. Played a long time on our bonus money, and ran up to Treasure Valley at Davis,.OK where I just kept hitting smallish amounts on a new slot game. Ended up with tons of points for future visits. Currently the promotions are great: earn 40 points on Thursday, receive another 40 points. On Tuesdays, earn 20 points, and get another 20. The grill pavilion is beautiful; has 2 gas grills with grilling utilities and food seasonings (if need), patio furniture with bar stools around, a picnic table, Bluetooth stereo to pair your phone and listen to music while you cook or just relax. Has a horseshoe pit (Jenga and perhaps some card games would be great), has nice fire pit next to the grill pavilion overlooking the pond below, has trails to hike; just a beautiful place and we along with friends didn't want it to end. Also known as pill bugs or roly polys. They come out at night. The first night, there was only about a dozen of them. We dispatched them and went about our business. It seemed like they were coming out of the shower drain, so we covered it up. The second night, they doubled down. About 40 of the invaders arrived. We took care of the problem like the troopers we are. On the third night, we returned to our cabin at midnight. There was a flash mob of crustaceans waiting for us. The floors were alive with hundreds of the buggers. We swept them up and dumped them into the toilet, but they kept coming. They seemed to be coming from everywhere. Out of the woodwork. From under the bed. From the water heater closet. Fortunately, these Armadillidium Vulgare don't bite or sting. But it's not pleasant when they meet their demise under your bare feet. And it's pretty creepy when they're crawling on you in bed. In the morning, when we checked out, we reported the assault to Kelli at the front desk. She seemed a little skeptical until I showed her a picture of the toilet, loaded with a large group of captives about to meet their maker. Kelli asked why we didn't call them about the problem. The first 2 nights, it didn't seem like a big deal. The 3rd night was different. And, it was midnight. We didn't like the idea of waiting for someone to blast the bugs (and us) before we go to bed. And, we had already been informed that all other cabins had been rented. Kelli understood and wanted to offer compensation, but the manager would have to approve it. The manager was in a meeting. She offered to talk to the manager, and we would get a call from them later. Kelli called about a half hour later to tell us that the manager credited us 10% for our trouble. Well, I guess that about covers the sales tax.

The floors had duct tape stuck to the tiles, likely covering up cracks, which was a safety hazard. The kitchen was also in poor condition - there were coffee stains on the counters and crumbs left on the kitchen table from previous guests. In the bedroom, the light fixture didn't work, though there was a lamp as a workaround. Things only got worse when we pulled out the futon from the couch. The mattress was stained and dirty, with food wrappers stuck to it, indicating it hadn't been properly cleaned. To top it off, the bathroom door wouldn't lock, which was concerning for privacy and safety. While I considered filing a complaint with the office, I was hesitant as it was a weekend and I feared there would be no other cabins available. Given the high price for just two nights, I was expecting much better quality. Sadly, this cabin did not live up to the standards I was hoping for, and I left feeling truly disappointed. I really hope the property addresses these issues for future guests. Good nature views though. But for the amount I paid you could honestly get a better hotel room.

Fished with Jerry for several years due to Jerry being a friend of a friend. Two years ago I got my…read moredates wrong paid Jerry $500 for mixup and hired a different guide for my 15 person group. Did not fish last year. This year we had 16 guys fishing. We were 12 minute late (6:12am) to the pickup point and Jerry was bad mouthing myself and our group. Apparently we were the (quick turnaround) so he could double book. My boat ran out of live shad at 8:15 and we were told that we had to be back at the dock at 9AM. Although the other two boats caught a bunch of fish. My boat (5 people) caught approximately 10 very small striper. So basically our "half day" of fishing meant we were back at the dock at 9AM. My group (Jerry describes as old men) will never use anyone associated with Jerry again. I really hate being screwed.
