First visit Dr. Smalheiser spoke to me for all of 3 minutes and did not allow me to share all my symptoms. Dr. Also downplayed my concerns and ordered a monitor without discussing anything about it. I cannot evaluate Dr. Borissova herself in terms of the care she may provide. The reason is as…read morefollows. I called no less that 4 times to make appointments for myself and my wife. All websites upon which Dr. Borissova shows up indicate that she is accepting new patients. When I called I actually spoke to a real person all 4 times, and each time the person I spoke with verified that she is accepting new patients. Each time I was told that they were busy and had to check the schedule for availability and that they would return my call either later that day or the next business day. I NEVER received a call back and had to call back several days later only to be given the same song and dance - someone will call me back soon... I got tired of waiting and went with another doctor whose staff made an appointment for me and my wife at the time of my first call. I do not know how Dr. Borissova can hope to be successful when her staff cannot even return a phone call. I would have preferred being told up-front that they were not interested in having my wife and I as patients rather than be strung along wasting my time waiting for a reply that never came... Mike

However, 18 months later, I was in great aid of a Podiatrist. A cast resulting from a broken ankle had rubbed blisters on my toes. They bust and got infected quickly. I contacted Dr. Blua's office and explained how bad it looked and expressed my concerns. I was told that the next available appointment was in four weeks and was advised to go to Urgent Care! Why did I astablish a professional for just this type of thing if only to be put off to an Urgent Care! I will not be returning to this office and wanted to inform others to beware.
