Found many good and interesting plants and trees here…read more Bought a plant the called a Mickey Mouse plant! It is called that because of the shape of the 3 "berries" where they form a V shape and will turn black forming the ears and nose (Not edible) I think it is a plant from Vietnam. It is a hardy easy to grow that I have had over 3 years or more. Looking forward to going back to see what they have!

Got a bit of an ick from this Santa Ana nursery…read more My best friend and I are really into gardening and we stopped by Emily Garden Nursery to expand our collection. Emily's has a large collection of very healthy looking fruit bearing plants. I fell in love with the mango and peach trees. The issue is that very few plants were labeled. They had hundreds of options, so it was like a guessing game to figure out what we were looking at. There was also no pricing listed for the plants available. While I could look past the lack of labels, I was pretty underwhelmed by the customer service at this nursery. The two women onsite wanted nothing to do with us. They never approached us throughout our search, seemed irritated by our price inquiries, and even refused to make a card purchase for a smaller item - after telling us they accept both cash and card. I left a little irked, but luckily there are so many beautiful outdoor plant stores nearby. Wouldn't recommend visiting unless you're a plant expert that can decipher 300+ species of fruit trees with no labels.

If you are new to gardening and only speak Vietnamese, this is the place to go, they have…read moreeverything you want, if they don't they will get them for you. But every plant is over price, after spending a couple thousand. I realized that the magnolia tree that costs us $450 there, is $189 at Lowes, and I'm surethey get it at Lowes cuz the tag is still there, they just peeled of the price. We paid for 5 bag of soil ($8) and 1 bag of fertilizer ($18), they end up giving us 6 bag of soil. Which you can get at Lowes or home depot for $3.50 and sometime they on sale for $2. Definitely a place if you want to get something hard to find but will not come back. Updated (May 31st): have taken the following information into my comparation: diameter of the plant, height of the plant, bucket size and most importantly, the kind of plant: Black Tulip Magnolia. Lowes is $189 (Central Long Beach Lowes is in stock at the moment) this nursery is $450 after being discount. And so you can be aware, the seller's responsibility ended when the transaction complete, if anything happened, you're on your own (verified on the phone after 2-3 weeks and I don't appreciate the way they talk to us) About soil, I pay for 5 bags of soil and a bag of fertilizer, they forgot to put in that bag of fertilizer, when I came back to get it, they give me another bag of boil, told me that So my personal conclusion: this place is ripped off and have horrible customer service.

We came for the lavender event. However, we stayed three hours shopped for gifts cards, the finest chocolates, and even found some wild blueberry jam. All of this walking around, looking at the numerous selection of roses they offer as well as lavenders. We had to stop into the farmhouse for lunch. We went Mother's Day weekend and the parking was horrible. Save yourself the headache and just valet your car. We walked in by their restaurant. They have carts available for you to use. The roses were hella expensive; $100 and more for a medium sized pot. They do offer a wide range of fruits and vegetables reasonably priced (~$8) and a variety of different types of flowers were scattered throughout the garden from small to large pots (~$10 - $40's) The garden was designed nicely with small shops offering decor and gardening tools/pot. They were way overpriced imo. Overall it was fun to walk around and see the different variety of plants and flowers. I would rather go to Lowe's/Home Depot or home goods for pots and decor though.
