I used Ricardo to sell a piece of income property in Orange County. The property was held in a trust so there were many requirements to get it sold. Ricardo was extremely professional and willing to work with a myriad of people including a trust attorney, property manager, trustee, etc. He was patient, on top of things and very responsive to any and all questions and concerns. Update: I never received emails from him. This is what he does. Blames others and doesn't accept responsibility. In my opinion you'd be better off going with another realtor. First off I don't like writing this review. But if it helps another family from going through what mine did then it's worth it. Selling: Ricardo did a decent job selling my home. I did have some higher offers on my house that were contingent. I asked for further details on these offers as to what the potential buyers were selling and so forth so I could make the best decision to get the most money for my home. I never received answers or information on the higher offers. We accepted an offer from a realtor that he knew and he said it would go smoothly. That's all fine and good but you don't pay a realtor for them to make easy money. It's their job to make these transactions go as smoothly as possible and get you the most money for your home. Buying: I would not use Ricardo to purchase a home again. I've bought and sold 2 homes prior to this recent purchase and this was by far the worst experience I've had. Throughout the buying process I'd wait 2-3 days for him or his team to send me documents. This ended up delaying my closing and costing me a week of pay because I had to take time off work to move. All I got was excuses in the end. Blaming the lender and not taking any responsibility. There was terrible communication through the escrow. I continually asked for information on moving dates and closing dates and never received a straight answer. Bottom line I would not recommend hiring Ricardo and his team. read more
