Back in the 80s when my Mom used to study cosmetology across the street I was a kid waiting for my Slice and soda from Ricos, classic paper plate and I was set. Now I get the Ricos Family special 3 topping pizza, pick an entree, garlic bread and 2 very Large drinks for a measly 26 bucks. Every bite still takes me back to when I was a kid, the incredible flavors have never changed and that is a great thing. Dont forget to dip that fluffy crust in Ranch! Keep up the good work Rico! In specific i recommend the supreme pizza and the regular turkey submarine but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu!! I WAS a long time customer until today. The pizza I ordered was cold, the toppings were sparse and the dough was stale. This was the third consecutive time I have had a bad experience. So it has been a downward spiral of bad food and service. Me and my family will never order from them again. I'm not sure if it is new management and at this point I do not really care!! Riccos pizza is in my opinion the best pizza ever!! Keep in mind that I've been eating this since before I was even born (yes, my Mom constantly ate this while she was pregnant) I seriously love this place. It's that real cheesy greasy down to earth pizza None of that fake or fancy foo foo pizza. The crust is crispy but not too crispy, it still has a good chew. I'm very happy that this place is still around and I hope it stays around for the rest of my life. This is the place I'll order from when I truly want to treat myself to a delicious pizza, as I did one night, ordering a large that I had all to myself. But listen, if you can't handle the sass you get from the owner, then don't bother. You are weak. You are not worthy and you are better off overspending on meh pizza from somewhere else. If you call in to make your order, be ready to have a fun phone call because if you're too *delicate* in your sentiments, you don't deserve to order from here. Grow a pair. With that said, I would say my favorite three items to order are the large pepperoni, the lasagna, or a turkey sub. I love the turkey sub because the bread is a little crispy on the outside but soft and chewy. The sub gets banana peppers and pickles and the turkey is never dry, or at least never has been when I've ordered it. There's a good chance I'll be calling in today to get myself at least a pizza, if not all three items after I go head to head with the owner. He's a funny guy. BEST PIZZA EVER! I've been coming to Rico's for 25yrs. Mr & Mrs Lee and their son are the sweetest people ever. The pizza is always fresh and it has that great mom and pop's signature taste. Not like Pizza hut or Dominos you can taste the "fast food". I love their submarine sandwiches. Delivery is always on point. They are definitely a golden nugget of the City of Bell. What I love best is that after all these years they still have great prices. You can't beat the prices. And finally after all these years they now take Credit Cards!!! It was all cash at one point and they have a "rewards program". It's pretty cute to me cause I've seen how slowly they've caught up to today's trends and technology. They still have 2 arcades inside and like 3 tables where you can sit at. The guys in the back making pizza are always welcoming and they know me and my Brother pretty well already. Just ordered the meat sauce pasta added meatballs and wings thru doordash. I could smell my wings the minute the guy gave me my order. It smelled so fn goooooooood. They were plain with no sauce just regular wings but omg they were perfectly crispy and so tasty and perfect (for some reason I thought they were hot wings with sauce when I ordered them) . Ricco's was my favorite pizza place as a kid back in the mid to late 80s when they first opened. I hadn't been there in a good 25 years but was in the neighborhood so I had to give it a try. The pizza itself tasted to me exactly like it did 25 years ago. What a great trip down memory lane. I highly recommend Ricco's to anyone and everyone. The prices are also great.
