We're still riding the high from our wedding, and a huge part of what made it unforgettable was Robbie. From our first call, he immediately understood what we were hoping for and brought them to life with total enthusiasm. Right away, Robbie got us thinking about how the whole day would come together. He listened, asked great questions, and gave ideas that helped each part feel like it belonged: ceremony, cocktail hour, grand entrance, first dance, dinner, speeches, and of course, dancing. When we wanted help with something specific, he was always available. For example, he trimmed the intro of our recessional song so we could time our "you may now kiss" moment to the first beat of the main verse, transitioning us perfectly into a celebratory walk back up the aisle. Also, he edited our first dance track to shorten it to match our choreography and end on a satisfying finish. Robbie loved getting into the details to help make our day exactly as we imagined it. He also helped us pull off a surprise: an eight-minute mini DJ set, filled with our favorite songs, pre-mixed and blended perfectly so we could perform it for our guests. It ended up being one of the most memorable parts of the night. And it only worked because Robbie went above and beyond, listening to our vision and putting in the extra prep to make it happen. Getting a good DJ was at the toppp of our wedding priority list and Robbie DELIVERED! When researching DJs, I kept wanting to hear samples of their work before really even taking a meeting with anyone. I wanted someone who could keep the party going with cool transitions and hyping the crowd, not just playing a playlist. I found Robbie through a TikTok actually. Another bride in the Bay Area was raving about his transitions and when I looked up his instagram, he had tons of reels. It was a done deal from there! Working with Robbie leading up to the wedding was so easy. We met a few times virtually and shared our preferred songs lists on his online software. Then on wedding day, he came prepared with all of the equipment, including a DJ set up outside for our ceremony and cocktail hour and inside for our reception. We also asked for uplights which really completed the space. During the ceremony, I was a veryyy particular bride that wanted verrryy specific parts of the songs to play at exactly the right time (picture having your first kiss immediately followed by Ellie Goulding singing the chorus of Love Me Like You Do - ugh you had to be there) and Robbie did not miss.
