Based on the great reviews for DJ Raymix, I knew he'd be good, but after getting to know him and having him DJ for our wedding this past weekend, I can't think of anyone better, and we're so happy to have worked together. Early on in the wedding planning stages, we met virtually and talked about different options for music, sound, uplighting, and other potential add-ons to customize the DJ/MC package to how we wanted. DJ Raymix has a ton of experience, had already been to our venue before, and his prices were reasonable. What we really valued was that he's a good guy - we could tell off the bat that he cared about making it the best wedding experience for us, and we discovered his passion for helping others when he isn't DJ-ing, which meant a lot to us. We kept getting compliments all night long from our wedding guests on how awesome our playlist and MC was. It was all thanks to Raymond. We gave him mostly free reign to do whatever and he ran with it. He did a couple things I haven't seen at other weddings that got everyone involved. Our shy parents decided they wanted to do parent dances 2 nights before our wedding and he accommodated it. During our father/daughter and mother/son dances he got the crowd swaying their arms and singing along so it felt more fun/less awkward. I've used them for events that I've planned (school dances, friends' parties, and I've even used them for a few non-profit events) and most recently, for my wedding. After an exhaustive review of DJs, listening to samples and getting to know each over the phone, we hired DJ Raymix and Prolific Weddings for our July wedding last year. Alongside our wedding coordinator (Pamela Fields at the University Club of Palo Alto), Raymond was our favorite decision and key to blowing us and our guests away during the night! We had expectations for what the DJ would do and that was about 20% of what he actually did. As others have reviewed, Raymond is the entire entertainment for the night, and after talking with us about what we wanted during the event, delivered the 100x version of our requests and blew us away. My wife and I looked at each other a few times during the night in awe of Raymond and how he was orchestrating the event. DJ Raymix was a referral from a friend of a friend. From the very first moment I met DJ Raymix I had a really good feeling about his capabilities and automatically knew he would do a great job. He was very professional and knew eaxctly what he needed to do to make our wedding perfect. Our wedding was three weeks ago and we're still talking about the awesome time we had and we have DJ Raymix to thank for that. My wife and I are very low key.
