That being said, the visit was less than 15minutes to which she said "it could be COVID, it could be just a cold." All she did was check my throat and blood pressure. When I was checking out, they said I didn't owe anything for the visit. Today, a month later, I got hit with a $550+ bill visit..and I'm insured! I find it extremely inappropriate that I got charged for a regular visit/check up. Do not recommend going here, you're better off going somewhere else or researching it online, as that was basically her recommendation for me - COVID vs a cold is VERY different. Will not be back here, and strongly considering closing my account with one medical, and reporting this.

My wife has been on my ASS for five plus years about getting my butt in to see a Doc. Recently I have run out of excuses and my wife made an appointment for me. I didn't have a regular doctor so my wife did her research and thought Dr. Chen would be the one for me. He is Board Certified which I don't know what exactly that means, but supposedly it's a good thing. He is accepting new patients which at the time of the appointment was a bad thing. His office is close by our house which again is a good thing. Wait time in the lobby is kept to a minimum....if you stop and think about it, this can be a bad thing. He completed his undergrad at Brown which is the same school as my sister in-law, good thing? So how was my first visit? It was painless and strangely enjoyable. It turns out we had many common interests and has a broad knowledge beyond just the medical world. Excellent Doctor and would not hesitate recommending him to anyone who has been procrastinating a check up.

After her pregnancy she eventually entered an inpatient addiction treatment program, where the MD stated that the ramp of opiates Dr. Toig had prescribed would have created an addiction in anyone and it was as if it was intentional. I then discovered a friend of mine had also seen Dr. Toig, and I will relay the facts of her encounter. Dr. Toig had performed a surgery to improve her fertility but erroneously left gauze inside of her, unfortunately rendering her infertile. Dr. Toig's office promised to somehow make this right, but was slow to act until they ceased corresponding entirely. My friend and her husband then decided to pursue a malpractice suit but legal counsel advised them that the statute of limitations had passed, coincident with when Dr. Toig's office stopped corresponding. I'm giving a 1-star review because my experiences were about as bad as can be.
