I called an attorney from the Orlando area to inquire about record sealing. I started my conversation off with "do u know if u can seal criminal records in the state of Florida" the answer was yes, I then said "do u know what the statutory time limit is if convicted of a misdo." The jerk on the phone goes "of course I know, I'm an attorney" Alright, typically attorneys don't answer the phone, this was rude but I continued on. I asked if it needed to go in front of a judge for a hearing, the man I was speaking to was extremely rude and said it's not something someone can do without an attorney. I informed him that I seal criminal records in Nevada professionally and just wanted to know if a hearing was needed or if it was paperwork that was submitted and done without a hearing (that's how it typically works in Nevada) he was extremely rude, wouldn't answer my questions and asked if I was looking to hire an attorney. I said yes, and asked what his rates were and he told me he wasn't interested in sealing my records. Alright, so if u don't want to give out information over th phone, that's fine.. But this guy handled my call In a n extremely unprofessional manner and theres no way I would ever hire hi m to do any work for me. Very unprofessional.
