Oh yeah did I forget to mention this is my first time EVER having an appointment here? I got contacts. When I went to pick them up the man handed them to me and said " The doctor wants you to try them out before he orders them "! He didn't tell me anything about them! Then I called to let them know that I needed to have my prescription in my reading lens because it's blurry. And then I said that my distance eye needed to be stronger too. She told me that my contacts were for distance and my glasses were for reading. I said I didn't get any glasses. She said but you have an order for glasses and they are for reading! I said my contacts are mono vision. She said oh yeah I see that now that I opened and read further into your chart. I called and talked to the OFFICE MANAGER. I was complaining about how his staff treated me how they didn't do their job. And for some reason he offered me my $40 back. Cancelled my up coming appointment to see the doctor about my contacts and I am not allowed to return to that office! All because his employees DIDN'T DO THEIR JOB. It's my fault!

So the following year when I went in for my contacts exam, I was surprised that he didn't even mention the eye map test or macular degeneration at all. I asked the woman at the desk for a copy of my exam records and she told me no. She flat out refused to let me see any of my own exam records! Pearle Vision is a sham! They also were high pressure about selling glasses when I was only there for contacts. I will no longer be going there. Also after that, I went to a different eye specialist for a second opinion, and was told I didn't have any macular degeneration at all, which was such a relief! I really don't recommend Dr. Amundson at all.

I can't leave zero stars but 1 star is too much. My wife and i ordered glasses 7 weeks ago. First…read moremine arrived wrong frames. My wife's frames were lost then discontinued in the same week. So no glasses for her because you have one wall to look at for glasses and she hated all of them. My frames have a "rush" on them as it has been 3 weeks she tells me they are on the way. Call today. They haven't left the facility. They don't know shit what's going on. They can't tell you anything about you glasses so yet why order through them. Go somewhere else
