Her treatment team has only recommended that she stay longer, and is requesting money for her to stay longer. We have barely heard from her treatment team. Releases are signed, they are legally able to communicate with us, this is just simply neglect to do so. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional and unethical this treatment has shown to be. We are now looking at 8 more days of treatment for her and of course we do not plan on extending her stay because Life Skills has shown us ZERO in terms of her progress in treatment and professionalism. I have previously worked in two drug and alcohol treatment centers, I know very well how treatment works, this is beyond unprofessional and disappointing. I cannot stress enough how much I do not recommend this place for treatment of your loved ones. It is genuinely scary and concerning their lack of care and professionalism.

All of them seemed like they were there for the right reason but they were mostly inexperienced and left as soon as they could, either due to low pay or abuse by the owner. It quickly became clear that ethical medial practice was compromised by profit. While there I heard repeated accusations by staff of abuse by the owner, saw them allow clients who threatened to rape other clients stay as long as their parents still sent checks, and they ignored serious drug addictions, choosing to treat them with in house with outpatient therapy rather than referring them to more intensive therapy at another facility. At least one woman died from this. Do not send your children here.

This decision came completely out of the blue from Zach and Jessica (the director), and there was no communication leading up to it that would have prepared me. On the same day I was told I had to leave, I spent hours scrambling with my case manager trying to figure out next steps and where I would go. Only after all of that stress and uncertainty did they suddenly offer to let me stay through the weekend, which felt inconsistent and unprofessional. To make matters worse, while allowing me to stay temporarily, they are restricting me from leaving the property--even preventing me from attending my church practice. This feels unreasonable and adds unnecessary stress during an already difficult transition. Everything I've stated is documented, and I am open to being contacted to verify these concerns. I expected better communication, planning, and support from a program that is supposed to help people during vulnerable times. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.
