Chris at FlexTax has been my tax advisor for about three years now, and I can't recommend him…read morehighly enough. He's incredibly thorough and detail-oriented - he double and even triple checks everything to make sure your return is accurate and that he has all the right information. He's also very responsive and flexible with scheduling, which has made it easy to fit tax meetings around a busy workday. Chris really shines with more complex situations. He specializes in startups and equity compensation (ISOs, RSUs, etc.), as well as investment portfolios, so if you work at a startup or have a more complicated tax situation, you're in great hands. He takes the time to walk through everything, explains complex issues clearly, and makes the whole process feel much less stressful. He goes above and beyond by looking at prior years and making amendments if necessary to put you in a better position for future tax years. I originally started working with Chris based on a friend's recommendation, and after three years as a client, I'm very glad I did. If you're a startup employee or founder, or anyone dealing with equity and investments, I highly recommend Chris at FlexTax.

This firm went from exceptional to completely unprofessional overnight…read more I stayed with them for years solely because of Sam, who provided outstanding service. After the ownership change, it's clear that level of care is gone. What replaced it is a rigid, impersonal system that treats clients like transactions rather than relationships. They failed to notify clients of a major policy change regarding tax extensions until just days before the deadline--putting me at risk of non-compliance. When I raised concerns, their response was essentially: "This is our policy now, and if you don't like it, go somewhere else." No accountability. No attempt to fix the situation. No access to leadership. Just scripted responses from a support team. For a firm that benefited from years of loyalty and referrals, this is an incredibly poor way to treat clients. Avoid. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER : Your response proves my point. After years of automatically handling my extensions, you changed the process right before a deadline, offered no real support, and told me to pay $240 or figure it out myself. Had I not followed up, I could have been penalized -- and now you're trying to turn it around and frame it as my fault by calling me "not engaged." After years of loyalty and referrals, this wasn't a transition -- it was a downgrade to a transactional model.

I was in need of a good paint job for the house. I saw Olson's painting around my neighborhood and…read moredecided to give them a call. Myron came on time was very thorough and extremely nice. Estimate was very competitive and I had a good feeling about the work. I wasn't let down, his crew came and went above and beyond everyday. Not only did they do an amazing job they were incredibly nice and so thoughtful. Little things like keeping the area clean and tidy, making the area liveable even if it was only for a couple hours before they came back. Even pulling out and in our trash cans. They treated our house as theirs. Not to mention the lines were clean and everything turned out exactly how we envisioned. 10/10 would recommend!

Myron didn't ask me for a review and I don't tend to post online feedback but there are few quality craftsman around these days -- and this crew deserves a shout-out. My project involved specialized work on a distinctive historic structure. I first hired Myron and his crew 20 years ago to paint my Victorian home and it still looks great today. I wanted to hire Myron again for a second project, but it wasn't in my budget at the time, so I went with "the other guy" nine years ago. Big mistake. This summer, I hired Olson Painting to "repaint" and do the job right. There's really not a more truer way to say this: you get what you pay for. The difference between a good paint job and an exceptional one is worth the investment when you consider its longevity: the prep and properly sealed joints on century old siding, repair of deteriorated glazing compound on the windows, and consistent application with transitions. Myron and his crew are trustworthy, patient, meticulous, and they take no short cuts with getting those details right. I absolutely recommend hiring Olson's Painting for your next paint job!

If we didn't start any…read more"process" as you claim then what were the invitation for mediation meetings that you claim you sent? You literally contradicted yourself one sentence after the statement. You must be mistaken because it was me that reached out several times to you asking to meet you to go over the process to understand things a little better but you declined every time, with the response of "we can meet when I serve you". Which would also imply a process right, Denise? My claims of gender bias are supported by you ignoring a male trying to solicit your business, while being overly responsive to the female party. That coupled with little to no men reviewing you whatsoever show me that you cater to women, which I understand because 70% of divorce filings are women, but you think a man would have a good review for you too... There is no confusion of grief for anger in this process, just you trying to gaslight everyone that leaves you a negative review into thinking there is. Communication and comprehension is not you or your Agnes's strengths. There is a reason why both me and my soon to be ex, despite not wanting to be married, agreed to walk away from you and go to your colleague across the bay. Because you're inefficient, biased, and slow. You also give legal advice when you shouldn't. I really was looking forward to telling you this all to your face had we met... but I guess yelp is the right place for it. If I can save one person from making the same mistake we did it it'll all be worth it Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
