Two teeth that gave me no issue or pain but apparently needed crowns were tended too, after reading the other reviews here I fear I didn't even need them, but I can say it caused me more pain then any other dental work in my life including root canals. That is in both the month between visits and in the work itself. I was taking three rounds of tylenol a day most days just to sleep and function, all while not even using the right half of my mouth to chew. While that is all fairly annoying in itself, what really pissed me off enough to review is the treatment at the end. I was told I'd need two visits for my crown, the first of which they'd drill out the infection and measure for my temporaries, when I came in to be my second which was to be a one hour visit, they spent TWO hours screwing with my teeth before declaring that one of the temporaries they'd measured for/prepared/ and called me into install didn't fit. This mean two more weeks of pain and a third surprise visit! I was given no apology or discount for this extra trouble, despite being in enough pain to consider going in to an emergency dentist to have the tooth extracted. When I finally came in for the third visit they didn't numb me despite my first words on the subject being 'my last visit was excruciatingly painful, I'd be shocked if I didn't need numbing. When the visit was over I was then mocked and talked down to by the dentist checking me over for having the AUDACITY to scream twice in pain, before he literately skipped away down the hall. I've not felt so disrespected or dissatisfied by a medical provider even once in my life, don't come here.

After a position of coordinating 35+ offices in a 4 state territory, then transferring to a new state and a new primary dentist, I solidified my opinion that he is the greatest Dentist out there. NO other can compare and it is that simple. The facility is so chic and classy. The deep rich colors create a calming feeling, but decor and the many windows create soft warm light. Outside of each room is a spectacular view of the green grasses and pond! It is so pretty to look out upon. My favorite aspect of the practice, besides the Dr & staff, is CEREC! This is a revolutionary way too fabricate crowns, onlays and much more right in front of you. This is done in one appointment, is a conservative treatment option, fits like a puzzle piece it is so perfect. Dr. Schulz is a professor of CEREC Dentistry and has a training facility at his office. I had a technological mind blown moment watching him computer design my tooth for the exact anatomy. It is cool! He has such integrity and is conservative with his treatment plans. I have a Dentist in California that I see for routine maintenence. If I need a restoration, at all, I make an appointment and fly into Overland Park to receive treatment. I understand that this seems to be a bit extreme, but with family here I make it a week and get treatment from Dr. Schulz and his staff. Regardless, I do not want no other Dentist working on me. His patients stay with him, they are very grateful, and the office is like a big Ole family. They are deserving of 10 stars I hope that my review offered some insight into this remarkable practice.

I was referred to the office by my good friend whose ex-husband was a dentist and I knew she must only go to the best and it was true! They went through a lot of effort after I came in with tooth pain & sensitivity issue that no one could figure out. In the end I needed a root canal, but not after the dentist tried every effort to save my tooth. The crown was quick and painless. The biggest bonus is the awesome massage chairs that you can use while you wait for your crown to be made. Thank you all! BTW the office is beautiful and spotless clean! Nice parking out front. Great staff. They make the most out of my visit to the dentist…read more When you first arrive, you are given a very friendly smile and a warm welcome by name. Most of my appointments are early, at 8, when they first open, so I don't have to wait long. They give me just enough time to grab a cup of coffee from the Kuerig. They have a full coffee bar with three different creamers, syrup to add, all in addition to a plentiful stock of K-Cups. If you do need to wait, they have a Wii in a little room with a flat screen tv. The receptionist is on top of insurance, and asks a couple questions verifying current address, phone number, etc. The dental hygienist took me to the chair after about five minutes of waiting. I told her I had a meeting at 8, and she said well let's gets you taken care of. She cleaned my teeth, talking me through everything she was about to do. She made pleasant conversation, as some dentists are better than others at a single sided conversation, then if I wanted to say something she would remove the tools and let me speak. Dr Katie Watson was out on maternity leave. Her replacement was a younger lady who examined everything, poked around a little bit, showed me some exposed areas where there might be a threat of sensitivity, let me know what they could do if it bothered me, and voila! All done in 35 minutes. I had a very pleasant experience, and this was my second visit here I highly recommend Stone Post Dental.

They have a comfortable and elegant waiting area (including a Keurig!) My hygienist is careful but thorough so I'm never in pain but get the maximum clean. She always provides little recommendations if I'd like an even better smile; which I appreciated. She recommended an electric toothbrush, which I purchased and saw great improvements. Now I've been more dedicated to my flossing, which she also suggested. Dr. Watson is so sweet. She always comes in for the final check. They are good about taking photos and x-rays when needed, but never suggest things you don't really need or shouldn't be worrying about. Always a wonderful experience! I'm so glad I met Dr. Watson and began using her for my dental needs!
