In any event, I had my first appointment at Overland Park Modern Dentistry on approximately October 9, 2024, and had a great experience. Dr. Sheth and the whole staff were very professional, thorough, and gave me information about costs right up front. I was going to be needing a crown (Dr. Sheth showed me on the xray what was going on and I'm familiar enough with the process to understand) and chose to have the entire process completed two days later. It took less than two hours. I'll definitely be using Overland Park Modern Dentistry as my regular dentist and highly recommend them.

Although there are really good reviews which made me want to give it a try, there are also bad ones having to do with money which is a red flag. I went in today for a cleaning from Dr Hutchinson, she was super kind and helpful on a plan to get my tooth to no longer hurt, she said that the filling I was given needed to be fixed and that should solve the pain. Overall I would definitely reccomend the office as the desk gals and hygienists are wonderful and so is Dr Hutchinson but I wouldn't reccomend seeing Dr Jessup. Also the location is kind of interesting to get to but once you've gone once it'll be a breeze to get to again. I suppose I should have gone to the state agency & reported their operating, billing & customer service policies. BEWARE! They may have some decent dentists, but they are a national or multi state corporate operation.

One dentist had sold me on veneers for my front teeth and told me I had four new cavities that needed to be filled. It turned out I had no new cavities and he really messed up the veneers leaving me feeling ugly and self-conscious. Uggh. So I was a bit gun shy after having some bad dental experiences and I needed to find someone who could fix the cosmetic nightmare of my two front teeth and also someone I could trust. I asked around before deciding to give Dr. Headley a try. Dr. Headley did a wonderful job with my front teeth and said that no matter what, he would do whatever it took to make me happy with my smile. So if you have any cosmetic dentistry, he's definitely your guy. But otherwise, he's just a darn good dentist. He never recommends anything that doesn't need to be done and he and his office staff are always kind, attentive and professional. I sent my hubby here after he had a scary dental appointment at his old dentist's office where he was handed a $2000 laundry list of things to be done to his mouth "as soon as possible." I was immediately impressed with Dr. Herre's knowledge of TMJ. He also teaches other dentist how to treat this condition so I would consider him an expert. Dr. Herre made me a bite splint and at first, I will be honest, the expense was really hard to swallow. However, when you consider that the hour long follow up visits (all included) for weeks and weeks afterwards, it really makes the cost more understandable. Anyway, I have had my bite splint for 5 weeks now and the proof is in the pudding. I went from someone who spent probably 10 days a month in bed with migraines to being nearly headache free. Before I also had other symptoms like not being able to chew foods, ear pain, facial pain and all of it has disappeared. My husband is thrilled that I'm not tired all the time anymore. I cannot say how pleased I am with the results so far.

I have had the same Hygienist, Fern, for as long as I can remember, Louise has greeting me since I started going there and I appreciate the family atmosphere of the practice. Their staff is obviously loyal for a reason. They are a great bunch of people. My entire family sees the Herre's. Over the years I have gotten sealants, fillings and broken teeth removed on top of my regular visits and I have always felt at ease. I am never intimidated and as Dr. Scott will tell you, I never cried! It's a nice treat to go to what is usually a dreaded experience and actually sort of enjoy myself and feel cared for.
