After 3 children, breastfeeding and many a waking hour spent tending to my kids' needs, I came to the conclusion that my body might be ready for a bit of a makeover. I wanted to do something for myself. I liked my existing implants somewhat, but the pregnancies, the weight fluctuations and lost upper breast volume was noticeable. I called Dr Rastogi's clinic and booked a consultation to talk to him about it. And wow, what a lovely surgeon, I wish I had gone to him the first time around! Following the appointment I booked in for the procedures and set about planning for my surgery, which he did simultaneously at Waratah Private Hospital. Following surgery, I recovered well and have been very happy with the results. My breasts are much fuller and the shape is lovely. Plus they are already starting to feel soft, despite them being polyurethane coated or 'Furry Brazilian'. My Tummy Tuck scar is so small and nicely hidden underneath my bikini line, he did an incredible job. I had raised the issue of ptosis with him prior to my surgery, only to have him dismiss it. I ended up requiring a revision procedure as he realised after that I did have ptosis and I now still have scars visible on my eyelids when they are closed. I was immediately impressed by the professionalism of her team and the thorough investigation and treatment of my eye problem. I had a follow up eye scan consultation in January and was put on a course of treatment to help prepare my eyes prior to considering cataract surgery. I had to delay my next visit due to Covid 19 lockdown but when I returned to the surgery in April I was again given a complete eye scan (free of charge) to check for improvement and following this I was able to have my first cataract operation in June and my other eye operation in July- both extremely successful. After all this, you may think I look weird but I don't - just a more youthful version of myself. Dr Gerarchi's stitching is superb and afterwards, virtually imperceptible to the naked eye. He was described by the head nurse in the hospital as being an 'artiste' so she was obviously impressed by the quality of his work. Susi, the nurse, is superb at placing filler and botox in the right places. My lips look fuller though natural. Sam, also a nurse has given me Fraxel to my arms and decalotage, peels and Omnilux as well as advising on appropriate creams to keep enhance my skin's appearance. I often get compliments on my beautiful skin! I'm just an ordinary middle-aged woman who wanted to look the best I could for my age. In 1983, I awoke one morning with severe pain in my stomach, I was helped to his surgery by two friends, as I started explaining my pain, he said, I know the problem, he softly pushed against my right lower stomach, as I winced, he then said, hospital now, I was immediately admitted to the old Windsor Hospital, a surgeon, Dr. Jacobs, visiting NSW from Adelaide on holiday, was located from a Visiting Surgeons Register in Black town. As they opened me in surgery, my Appendix burst, they had saved my life by seconds, thanks to Dr.Prabhu's immediate diagnosis. The Surgeon however, died after being hit head on by a drunk driver on his way back to his Hotel vis Richmond Rd., Dr Jacobs coincidentally had saved me from choking to death with a fishbone in my throat in Naracoorte SA in 1963, and again in the same circumstances in the 70's at the RAH in Adelaide. To have saved my life again then die as he did was a very moving and sad eerie experience. Dr. Prabhu, it goes without saying, I would trust him with my life. However, I haven't seen Dr.Prabhu since I left the Windsor district in approx 1984.
