The new place on Magazine St. is amazing. Dr. Sherman is great. He's been seeing me for a few years now. I wrote a review a while back and basically, no change. He's professional, on-time and quick. One more thing, he's persistent. I kept getting rashes from the Covid masks. He finally got it to go away. Solid doctor. Back to his new office. It's is extremely well done. The common areas are comfortable and classy. The exam rooms are of course functional, but even those are classy. I am going on a limb here, but I suspect it's the nicest doctors office in town. From the flooring to the fixtures, it screams attention to detail. I can only image the time and effort it took to for this renovation. Also, they have parking! I forgot how many, but maybe 6 or 7 spots. read more

Dr Sherman is great. I'd rate the experience a 5 but the front staff customer service skills a lot to be desired. Both women are abrupt and not friendly. Also, the one with dark hair and a ponytail coughed without covering her mouth let alone wear a mask!!!! OMG! Seriously?!? read more

One of the inconveniences of moving to a new city is having to find new drs and dentists! I had my first visit with Dr Sherman today and I'm extremely pleased ! I went to see Dr Sherman to have a couple of minor blemishes removed from my face. The staff were great helping me understand what would be covered by insurance and what would not. Dr Sherman helped to explain further and we decided what to do based on my wants and insurance coverage and long term impact (he talked me out of something super minor that would be very costly out of pocket - I was thrilled by that!) But most importantly, he removed a small spot on my forehead that concerned him. He asked permission to have it biopsied. Upon results, he suggested I have a Colonoscopy as soon as possible, and suggested it in a manner that did not panic me. Man - I am forever grateful! My Gastrointestinal Doctor is going to call Dr Sherman to find out how he knew this little spot might be an indicator of a serious problem inside of me. Thank you, Dr Sherman. Dr. Sherman is amazing. I had a weird growth on my scalp that I ignored for about a year and a half until it got so big I couldn't comb by it. I kept hitting it and making it bleed. So I finally went to Dr. Sherman. I really just guessed, there were a lot of choices for dermatologists but he was close to where I lived and they were able to book me quickly. He quickly identified the growth and shaved it off right there in the office. He sent it in for biopsy and upon it's return and his review of my medical history he felt that further action needed to be taken. He said it's a long shot, rare chance, but based on my family history and the results of the biopsy that I should have a colonoscopy. He also excised additional tissue from the area. He and his staff are SO friendly and down to earth. I love this medical group. It's obvious that they care. It's also easy to get an appointment with him, so don't hesitate to reach out if you have something bothering your skin. read more

I am new to the New Orleans area and was looking for a dermatologist to help with my rosacea. After waiting a few weeks for an appointment, Dr. Sherman spent less than 5 minutes with me. He walked in the room, immediately wrote me 3 prescriptions (two of which were over $300 each), and left. He didn't even sit down. Seemed to hardly have the time to get to know me or make me feel comfortable. After he left, he sent me to a separate room with a bunch of products to try and sell me upwards of $300 worth of products (in addition to the prescriptions). Overall, too busy for his patients. This is a terrific practice. I'm very fair and so dermatology concerns are big ones for me. First, I have never been kept waiting; they really work to see you at the appointed time. To be quite honest, I must say that this man has changed my life drastically for the better. When I was young I had some of the most terrible acne one could image, and he completely transformed my skin. He is a great doctor not only for acne, but for many other skin conditions too. I went in with swelling and what appeared to be burns and minor bruising after I had a severe allergic reaction to a facial product. Because it was an emergency, Dr. Sherman squeezed me in so that I could be seen. His nurses Margaret and Natalie were extremely kind, and they answered all of my questions thoroughly. They were concerned about follow up, and again fit me into the schedule so that I could be seen just a few days later to make sure everything was progressing. Even though I looked pretty scary, they reassured me and a few days later I'm on the mend. I would highly recommend this practice if you're looking for people who genuinely seem to care about their patients' wellbeing. read more
