This was our second time going and I still think it's a blast. They go over all the rules and precautions and then you race! Wait times can be a bit if there are lots of people there but you can play games, eat, and drink or even watch other ppl race! It's fun to bring your beer out to the track watch area and see racers. Once you're done racing, they print out a data sheet on your performance. I've saved every one so far to see how I improved!

No one answered the phone, their website showed no available dates, and out of frustration I even drove an hour to their location--only to find nothing happening. A month later, I received an email stating they were "closed for the winter." Nowhere -- not on the Groupon listing, their website, or their voicemail -- did they mention being seasonal. When I tried to use my vouchers later, they refused to honor them. Even worse, the operators openly admitted that they continue to sell Groupon vouchers during the winter to "boost sales," fully knowing they're closed and that customers can't use them. That's deceptive and unethical. Bottom line: This company hides behind Groupon to take your money and then refuses to stand behind their product. Avoid them entirely -- don't fall into the same trap I did!

I ran an UMP Modified at Terre Haute Action Track, and had a total blast. I forked out the cash…read morefor 15 laps, and after a pre-race briefing, I was in the car. I was the only guy in my session driving the UMP Modified, not that it mattered. I have no actual race experience, other than driving a ton of laps in go-karts, so I was a little nervous. They set the cars up to about 75% race speed, but that's still plenty fast for a beginner driver. Terre Haute was fairly flat, dry and slick, so the back end would kick around pretty easy, but the track is also fairly big. You could hammer the throttle in the straights and really feel the power. I stayed fairly reserved around the corners, and only hung the back end out a little, as I didn't want to spin and potentially hit something, but I think next time, and there will be a next time, I'll be a little more adventurous in the corners. All in all, fun as hell. You drove at your own pace, and were on the track with a few other cars, so the potential to pass was also there. If you want pics and video, it's available, and they don't discourage you taking your own pics, either. Plenty of access to walk around and check things out, too. My son came back while I strapped into the car, and had a good time even though he didn't drive anything. As I mentioned, I'll be back, and hopefully soon.

My daughter and I bought a ticket for my husband for Father's Day. The day came and my husband was…read moreso excited. He got to the venue extra early, around 1:15 pm. He was scheduled for 2:00. He didn't actually get into a car until 4:30. He stood there waiting and so did we to watch. They didn't have enough cars to meet the needs of all of the drivers who purchased tickets. They cars were pieces of junk and kept breaking down. They didn't have reserve cars. In the training they were encouraging people to purchase extra tickets to ride along with a professional driver. Sad thing is, there weren't professional drivers at all. The cars didn't even fit two people. The two cars, late models did, but we did not see any professional drivers. They were collecting money for something that they knew wasn't going to happen. Save some money and don't buy tickets to this, it's not worth it. It took away from the fun and I don't like lying and basically taking money even though they say you can get a refund or reschedule.

They have a large fridge, many cabinets, multiple places to sit, and a little patio area with about 10-20 seats. They also serve food outside of the suites with a range of pizza, roasted vegetables, a variety of desserts, brauts, and coffee. A bar is also available. One downside is how expensive the food and merchandise is. I think the prices are crazy! Also the security wasn't super friendly when my bag was slightly over the size. Besides that, great experience!
