This included comments to me on my weight (without any correlation to how that impacted my body), comments about other patient's weights (one example was how he had to stop treating someone because insurance wouldn't pay on her PIP claim anymore and she "was just too heavy to help"), random personal stories that made no sense, political commentary that was uninvited/borderline racist, etc. He never took an Xray and ultimately wasn't physically able to do any adjustments on me. I've gone to chiropractors for decades and, being new to the area, hoped this would work out but I don't have 3 hours (!!!!) to waste just to end up not even being adjusted. The icing on the cake was receiving a bill from them that didn't show what I was being billed for (just a total they expected me to pay). When I asked for an itemized receipt it included a $16 charge for an ice pack I didn't want/need and tried to politely decline taking (since, again - he couldn't adjust me) but was forced to take, and $150 for listening to his incessant rambling without actually receiving any benefit physically. I've expressed my concerns to my insurance provider and would never suggest this office to anyone.

Instead of working primarily on my neck, he had a table that stretched my lower back, then he put a tens machine on my lower back and left for a long period of time. When he did touch my neck, he only adjusted one side, leaving the other side more painful. Before leaving, he placed a menthol rub on the counter and said it was $45 dollars. I wasn't expecting that, but I paid. I went two more times, while he seemed to still focus on my lower back. Then, on my third visit, they said I needed to pay $25 more for the X-rays taken on the first day. Since you can only pay in cash, I paid as much as I could towards it, even though I was never told about this extra charge. I feel completely duped and manipulated!
