Still Going strong and my last review was in 2021. This office is a great office with qualified and skilled staff. Dr. Shaun always takes such good care, asks questions and makes sure we are following through with suggestions to help us stay well. So glad he was able to get some help in the office with another Chiropractor. He is great also and Bilingual to my knowledge. I think that is so great that he has expanded and now he still works hard but should be able to relax a bit because he now has help. Everything started out fine, I even excused the poor front desk customer service, until I was billed for services I had already paid for. I never left that office without paying my dues. Called to inquire about it and was told I had to submit receipts (which I no longer had) or bank statements as proof of payment. I paid my bank $10 for copies of my bank statements and submitted them. I was told someone would get in touch with me regarding this issue but never heard from anyone. I had to call them. I requested my $10 bank statement copies they took, be returned because it I shouldn't have had to pay $10 in the first place if their billing department had their shit together. I received the copies of my statements with no type of apology or anything of the sort. It just had a post-it with a short comment on there stating something about returned copies. I wish Dr. Matsumoto made himself more available to his patients such as through an email but I found nothing like that on his website so that I could've told him directly about this whole waste of time situation instead of speaking with his front staff that doesn't know anything about customer service. Hardly ever got a smile from any of them upon entering. Needless to say I'm not returning to Alta Chiropractor. I wish them well but they have lost me and my entire family as customers. read more

I was pretty hesitant about visiting a chiropractor for the first time at the ripe age of 29. A chronic neck issue finally reached a tipping point and I needed to take action. I heard about Dr. Shaun through my gym so I decided to make a visit. I'm quite thankful I made that decision because I didn't know the degree of severity my spine was actually suffering from after years of athletics and 0 care. Dr. Shaun has a phenomenal bedside manner and personality, it's such a joy getting to share brief conversations on a weekly basis while getting tuned up. This is my second favorite place to be, right behind Hawaii. My spine looks like a winding mountain road (thanks, scoliosis!), so back pain is as normal as breathing. After going to numerous chiropractors, I decided it was a waste of my time. It always felt nice, but five minutes later, it was back to business as usual. Over the years, my back has gotten progressively worse, and it got to the point that I was in constant pain and couldn't even continue my workouts. Any back our shoulder exercises had to be moved to a machine, and things like squatting and deadlifting were out of the question (when your back is so far out of line, it doesn't matter how good your form is). On top of that, I was in constant pain, and even putting my shoes on was painful and difficult. Then I heard about Dr. Matsumoto and decided to give him a try. His assistant, Eva, is fabulous. She was very friendly and professional, and I felt completely comfortable answering all of those awkward personal questions you have to answer when going to a new doctor. They did x-rays of my back, which confirmed that it was a giant mess, and then Dr. Matsumoto adjusted me. The first time it honestly felt like I had been in a car accident. But I got the courage to go back, and the second time, it felt like heaven, as it has every time since then. And not only for five minutes, but all day. After a few months of regular adjustments, Dr. Matsumoto took more x-rays. I didn't need the x-rays to know the treatment had helped. I was back to doing all my regular exercises with free weights, including squats and deadlifts, and I had grown an inch. But the x-rays did confirm major correction to the curves in my spine. I can't recommend Dr. Matsumoto highly enough. His staff is wonderful, he is amazing, and his work is literally life-changing. My pain is gone, my physical fitness is back, and I feel better than I ever have in my life, which is saying something, considering I'm in my 40s. read more

Recently moved to the area and was looking for a nee chiropractor. My old chiropractor actually chose for me and researched. I have been going for about 2 months now and i love it. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. Dr. Matsumoto is amazing and super sweet. He genuinely cares about his patients and how they feel and whats going on. I missed my adjustment one week and I definitely felt the difference. Chiropractic helped me tons through my pregnancy as well as during my long recovery after. Last week in preparation for a wedding we were attending I happened to be staying close to Dinuba, CA. I have been having severe shoulder pains for sometime but it was particular painful last week.
