I am surprised they have any good reviews. I went to close the blinds etc, and noticed the 2" window sill was dirty with dust from the glass cleaning. I was told they don't give them a swipe but maybe it's extra. I said ok but I don't remember seeing that it was extra but it needs to be cleaned since washing the glass created the dust. So do it. Crew called the boss to advise them if this and the boss told them to leave basically saying my demands are too great. Crazy! read more

Had 2 guys come out this past summer. They put a 8 1/2 scratch on my front storm door. I watched Brandon going back and forth sideways, circular motion trying catch the water from dripping. Apparently the metal side part of the squeegee scratched my glass window. I had sent emails to the owner never heard back. Finally weeks later owner Jim called me back. He came out looked at my door. He tried to remove it to see if can be repaired or replaced, but he didn't know how to take out the window. Jim-owner even gave me his personal cellphone # he reassured me he would get it repaired or replaced. Months went by never heard back. So I researched myself few companies said not repair it has to be replaced. So I sent him a text on his cell#. Let him know I researched it myself told had to be replaced. I texted him the information how to replace it through Larson manufacturer.He never called me back he ghosted me. I put a complaint in with BBB . He responded back to them only way would of heard back from him. He made up lies to BBB. Saying techs would never use squeegee that way even though he wasn't there I was to see it with my own eyes. He had made up many lies to fabricate his story. I can see why he has so many 1 ratings on yelp. He always blames the customer for things his employees do wrong. He even stated to BBB that all his customers are always happy the reason why his ratings are so good which they aren't. You can see why there are so many 1 ratings on yelp. I wouldn't recommend them because they are incompetent and do not take responsibility when they do something wrong they just play the blame game. Horrible customer service. read more

A representative came out to the house for an estimate the next day and service was performed a few days after that. Much sooner than the timing originally given which was appreciated. Very affordable for the service provided, the cleaning resolved a specific problem we were having on one corner of the house and helped all the other areas plus the detached garage as well. Great experience! Would hire again. (In fact, at this writing, have already scheduled again.) Hired company (in early summer) to clean gutters of home we'd recently moved into, and to make repairs to a downspout there. They arrived as scheduled, performed requested service, and upon inspection, found additional gutter problem areas (and fixed them!). Good experience. Have already scheduled gutter cleaning for fall, and also for chandelier cleaning as well. The only downside? Appointment scheduling seems to be routinely 6-8 weeks out. Very inconvenient. Maybe because they're in such demand? Maybe it is a seasonal thing during summer months? Maybe because of Covid/short of staff? Not sure, but it would be nice if scheduling could take place sooner. I have waited a while to post a review, because I did not want to do it while I was upset. The cleaning was done well, but one window on the other side of our house in an apartment was broken. The guy pulled it totally away from the frame. Then he just had it leaning there. It was windy, and the window got blown down and broke. This is a big window. Luckily my daughter went over there and saw it. Now it is duck taped closed until I can arrange to replace it. This is a large window. There is no way the worker did not know what he did. read more

Good job gutter cleaning. Window cleaning was good as far as the glass is concerned, but not wiping away very visible leaves and cobwebs from the trim seemed incomplete cleaning to me. I didn't expect them to scrub the trim, but wiping away the obvious debris would have taken only seconds. read more

I contacted Richard Young Window and Gutter Cleaning to have my gutters cleaned. Their business model is a bit confusing and can cause some issues. At first they send someone out right away to give you an estimate. Because it was gutters and they are outside, there was no need for anyone to be home. Okay. Cool. So I get home after the estimate was left and say we'd like to hire them for the estimated job. Well then you get placed on a list that you don't really know about and they won't come of there is any freezing, which I understand, but they also won't call you to tell you that they aren't coming. And again, the only way you really know if they came, since you don't have to be gone, is if there is an invoice left. So, while I would hire Richard Young's to clean my gutters again, I really really think they would do better as a company if they focused a bit more on communication and letting you know when to expect having your work done. read more

My father has used this service for years. My first experience with them was this passed November (I live out of state) when they came to clean out his gutters. They charged almost $100.00 for approximately 20 minutes of work. Their bill states that they remove debris by hand and bag it and clear clogged down spouts and secure gutter spikes. To my knowledge they did none of that, They blew out the leaves with a blower onto the yard below and nothing was bagged and removed from the property. I called the owner and discussed it with him and he offered no explanation. This passed weekend, we had a gutter on the back of the house come down causing damage. I called the company back and spoke again to the owner to see if they were willing to make good on what they failed to do in November and he dismissed it and blamed the damage on the weather. The following day, I had a gutter specialist come to the house for an estimate for the repairs and he told me that there was too much weather damage to the rafters, facia and soffit which is the anchor for a gutter system. He also stated that this damage was caused as a result of years of water overflow from the existing clogged gutter system. My father is in his nineties and has hired Richard Young to service his gutters for several years. If you are thinking of using this company to service your gutters, I would highly suggest you look elsewhere read more

I saw his truck advertising Window and Gutter Cleaning, looked professional. I called for a appointment was told they would and could not let me know when they would be onsite for a cleaning. This should of been my first clue to cancel. I agreed because I waited to long to find a new gutter cleaner. I was told mid November but on the 15th I thought about cancelling, didn't think they where coming. Sunday morning I hear my ring go off thought it was a delivery, nope few mins later I hear banging. I looked out my front window and saw the truck. I went down to find a young man by my back porch, he never introduce himself. I asked if he was by himself, I stated that this was not safe. He was up on my roof, would if he fell off? My back patio, chairs and grill was full of mud. He complained that was in the gutte, wasn't that's why I called for service? Btw Sunday was the 29th my hoses where put away. How does one clean a gutter without a hose. I was never asked to leave one out. I had to have my son pull out a hose to clean up the mess. So much for calling a professional. My husband tried to talk to the owner, he told my husband if we didn't like the job don't pay him and find someone else. Does anyone take pride in their business? Care about the customers concerns. Having a contrctor onsite without anyone home is not safe or smart. I wasn't looking for a free ride, I was looking for a reliable, caring , build a relationship for my home. No such thing anymore. read more
