I just had work done yesterday (8/27/25), it was a pleasure working with Saul through the entire time. Even though I changed the work I originally wanted done, it wasn't a problem. I wanted to just do the work that had to be done immediately, which was replacing rotted fascia, new gutters and having back porch roof done. What I feared was a new roof turned out to be the replacement of longer nails and caulk in places to fix the water leaking in the back bedrooms of my house. My skylight was filling with water and needed replacement. I contacted Several contractors and the first to reply was DJG Brothers Contracting. Their service manager, Saul, arranged for a visit the next day. He was, knowledgeable creative and provided several options. He provided an estimate which was delivered electronically the next day. We reviewed our estimates And selected DJG Brothers to do the work. Saul came over the next day and did the final measurements. It turns out, our skylight is an older model, And Saul found a replacement that was a few inches shorter Did he guaranteed to reframe at no additional costs We agreed and made a reasonable down payment to start the job. The Skylight and all of the required materials were delivered the following day. Sail, checked on progress throughout the process to make sure everything was on schedule. Although I did not end up using this company, the representative Saul, was very professional very thorough and he gave me an estimate and a start date, but the job did not get done because I didn't hear from anybody on the day was scheduled. Unfortunately, some of the supplies they needed were not available in their warehouse and somebody in the office Was supposed to call me and they did not so I had to call another contractor because I needed work done. At the end of the day I got a call from the man who gave me the estimate and he explained what happened and that somebody should have called, but unfortunately they didn't Mistakes happen and I understand that . I had a new roof installed 3 years ago & was well satisfied with them. Unfortunately my neighbors tree branch fell on my roof damaging it so severely I needed a new roof. DGJ to the rescue.
