Worst donut shop in the area! Avoid until they clean their place and get more variety. Worst donut shop I have ever been in.

I think this place is called Star Donuts now (that is what the outside sign says). It was a little hard to find, but it is on Court Street right after McAndrews Road. It is on the right side in a little strip mall. We were there on a weekday around 10 AM and they weren't busy. The lady behind the counter was super sweet and great at making conversation. We chose four donuts: apple fritter, bear claw, cinnamon roll, and a buttermilk old fashioned. They have a couple of tables and chairs inside, so we ate there. The donuts were excellent! They were huge, fresh, and soft. The bear claw was probably my favorite although my husband was really impressed with the buttermilk old fashioned. I can't believe how cheap everything was compared to Seattle prices. I will definitely go back here the next time I'm in Medford. I think they sell out of things, so I will definitely show up earlier! read more

Great donuts!!!! Their selection of donuts is on the smaller side; however, they DEFINITELY make for it with the flavor!!! Their donuts are soft and fluffy. The chocolate and pink frostings are DELICIOUS!! I will be back!! read more

I don't know what I just walked into but this place was like no business I have seen in my life. The place is easy to miss but there's a lot nearby we caught that was close enough to walk over. When we walked up, the entire storefront was completely covered in steam. I immediately felt off but I didn't have the patience to deal with my 2 kids arguing if I turned and walked away.. mistake number 1. We walked in and immediately my 10 year old says 'mom, it's really musty in here'. When I tell you it was so musty my son complained that it was MUSTY! There was a hint of donut smell but the must was unbearable. The whole time ordering I was drafting my yelp review in my head. Got our donuts, paid and made our way out of there. Got home and our lemon filled was raspberry filled and they were so stale that I doubt they were baked fresh today, but hey, I don't make donuts. My kids were so disappointed. Horrible customer service no directions on where to go. People walked in and just cut me off. Then the clerk got angry when I stated I was there first and told me to just be patient. Another person walked in in front of me and nothing was said so I left. Went to Country Donuts on Jackson I was in and out in 5 minutes with the best donuts I ever had!! read more

It is very easy to miss this place, even if you are looking for it and have a map printed out. Worth every minute you spend doing so, but get there early for the best selection as stuff goes fast! Very tasty treats, and little tiny Penny is cute as a button. She asked where my wife and I were from and "how many hours drive", took our hands to thank us for coming in (her hands reminded me of my Grama who was a field hand in AK back in the 1920's, so clearly this charming gal works her but off), and made sure we got to try different kinds of donuts besides what we ordered - which was nice, since we'd clearly been missing out! I am taking off one star only because of the plain, yet completely serviceable storefront that didn't have a cut out in the curb/sidewalk for my disabled wife to easily get to the front door. For these donuts, I'd have picked her up and carried her over the threshold if I'd had to! read more

Found this place about 2 months ago. This is the only place I get my donuts. The lady there is so sweet. We go there pretty frequently and she gave us an extra 5 donuts. Its easy to miss this place but once you taste their donuts you will be going here every month. One of my favorite places to get donuts in southern oregon. read more

Penny, the owner is a very, very nice lady - will make you feel so welcome and at home. Their donuts are delicious and Penny's willingness to accommodate your "donut-desires" for the day is a very nice touch; especially in these times when customer care is non existent, for the most part. We did Pucks, Donut Country, Peace Love Donuts, etc. We attempted to visit Richards Donuts on Sunday 7/16/17 at 7:30am, 30 minutes after their website says they open. Fantastic service! Walked in based on other reviews and was not disappointed. Asked for a half dozen donuts and after being rung up, the lady added four extra donuts to the order!
