We had seen a show on PBS and had to check it out. We drove up and there were some cozy chairs and tables set up outside. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by wonderful smells of fresh baked pastries and by the staff. They have a good selection of sweet and savory treats. You can also order coffee. We went for a little of both for the family. We ordered the Egg and Cheese croissants and Bacon, Egg and Cheese croissant. We also got some jam filled donuts and a cheese bagel along with some coffees. There are a few tables inside to sit and relax. The jam filled donuts did not have much filling but otherwise everything else was delicious. We will definitely be back to try some other items. read more

Absolutely delicious pastries. The almond croissants are my favorite, but they have plenty of other excellent sweets. There are a lot of lunch options too. Very excited they are opening a second location in Medford in June (where Wayback Burgers used to be). Would love to see them expand their bakery and sell more bread and bagels. read more

Bagel was fresh, and My latte was steamed perfectly and had art on top which means the person who made it cares about quality and knows what they are doing. Very friendly and professional staff. Exceptional Experience @ Artisan Bakery Cafe in Medford, OR. !! First time patron to this establishment on Friday @ 10:30 am. I've been looking forward to tasting their croissants and it was just as divine as I was hoping it would be! I was warmly greeted upon entry. The two employees serving customers were very kind and friendly. I was lucky that one table (of six total) was available for me to enjoy my late breakfast. This small bakery was comfortable, clean, and well decorated. I loved the wall murals at each table, it definitely made the cozy space even more appealing. My vanilla latte was flavorful and served in a ceramic mug. The breakfast croissant was absolutely delicious, savory, and flaky, as it should be. The only thing I would hope for is that they replace the one-use plastic utensils with reusable silverware, sooner than later. I devoured my meal and left happy and satisfied. We stopped in to get some quick breakfast on our way out of town. Excellent service that was friendly and prompt. We were just going to get two breakfast croissants but their other danishes looked so good we walked away with our yummy breakfast croissants, bacon and egg and ham and cheese, and 4 danishes to try later. The people behind the counter were very nice and explained a few of the menu items to me so I could choose. We ordered a sausage egg and cheese croissant, a veggie bagel sandwich, and a mocha. Got here right when they opened along with 5 other people, guess we all had the same idea. EVERYONE was greeted in a very welcoming manner (LOVED IT). We all were acknowledged and getting out orders placed was a breeze. I got the Croissant with Sausage and Eggs and a fresh coffee. The CROISSANT was AWESOME!! I ordered the NW Turkey and cheese sandwich on multigrain bread (croissants and bagels sold out at 1:15pm) fresh and high quality ingredients. I planned to only eat half, ended up eating the whole sandwich and licked my fingers afterwards. Chai latte tasty, not overly sweet. I lucked out and bought the last almond croissant. I usually don't buy flavored croissants however considering all the plain were sold out I figured they had to be good. Delicious!! Came here with my 6 year old and almost 2 year old on a rough morning when it was super smokey and I was looking for something to do. I have been disappointed in Medford bakeries and their selection and quality but heard great things since the new owners took over. First of all, the staff was so welcoming and friendly! A rarity it southern Oregon so it really stands out when you find it. My 2 year old made a huge, crumbly mess of his blueberry muffin and they were really sweet about it. I got the cream cheese pocket, my daughter got the cinnamon knot, my son had the blueberry muffin, and me and my daughter split the sugar (Bavarian cream-filled) beignet. Everything was excellent and of the utmost quality! Easily on par with fancy bakeries in big cities. I have high expectations, especially when it comes to cream filling in donuts and beignets and this place is the best I've tried in the Rogue Valley. The prices are excellent and I look forward to trying their sandwiches. No more driving to Ashland to hit up a certain bakery that also serves croissants. I prefer to keep it in Medford for a lot of reasons and now I can. read more
