Bad customer service. Bad price. Bad quality. 0 for 3.
We've been coming to them for a long time but apparently customer loyalty doesn't count for much - in the past couple years we've been charged increasingly high prices for some very basic work. On top of that, it isn't even done competently.
Case in point was a new GPS module that we had installed after rehabbing our engine and all the teak in the boat. We got the boat back, docked it, and found our boat 2 days later sunk at the dock. No storm, no fouled lines. Daffin got our boat out of the water and said he'd split the cost with us since he thought it couldn't be determined what the cause was. In 25 years of owning the boat it had never sunk.
I've since heard bad things from neighbors and at this point won't be using them unless there is a dire emergency and no one else is available. Angie's List or Craigslist should give more reliable, reasonably priced, or (at least) friendly service. read more
