Steve Webster suggested we paint the boat the with a process called AWLGRIP and the results have been amazing. The actual Hull was full of barnacles and mini potholes that had to be addressed. The finished product looks like it just came off the assembly line. Steve also addressed some mechanical issues that came up and I in our first outing the boat is performing perfectly. Steve takes great pride in what he does and he goes above and beyond to not only please his customers but to please himself in the job that he has done. We expected it to be a challenge being 2hrs away from home but Jake and Vicky have been very accommodating. From scheduling and launching for sea trial; haul out and re-blocking; re-winterization; repairing and testing boat heat/AC after survey; and advanced scheduling of our spring launch for maiden voyage home. At no time did they take advantage of us. Power was readily available for winter repairs. The marina is clean and well maintained. We wish Ferry Point Marina was closer to home and we could keep our boat there. Keep up the good work!

Lou is a great honest guy and did a great job on my 115 Johnson motor. I actually trailered the…read moreboat 200 miles just to give it to Lou to work on. He told me that he had a few jobs ahead of mine and I knew that it might take him a while to get to. Lou fixed all my carbs, fixed the tach, changed my lower unit oil, and the engine purrs like a kitten now. I had taken it before to another guy in Virginia and he never truly fixed it. Also, I asked Lou to set up the fuel system so that I could run the fuel from an external 5 gallon tank so that I didnt have extra fuel sitting in the tanks to ruin the carbs again. I enjoy talking to Lou and I will continue to take my boat there in the future.
