My family and I visited Ogunquit this past summer (Aug. '12) for a little R&R. While there, I smacked my face into a SUP (stand-up paddleboard) and broke one of my teeth right in half (I know, right?...). I walked back to the hotel with my wife and set about looking for someone local who might be able to see me right away. She called Lee's number, and he picked up (!!) and they set an appointment for me for just one hour later. I drove down to Wells (only a few minutes away) to visit his offices. Lee saw me nearly right away. He set my mind at ease, sanded down my broken tooth very quickly so that it was no longer so sharp, and then let me decide to have him do the full repair, or wait for my guy back in California to do it. I opted to have my local dentist take care of it once I got home (just in case I needed additional care), but I really appreciated Lee's easygoing manner and his concern over ~my~ worries and ~my~ well being instead of the interruption to his schedule. My family LOVES this dentist! He is kind and caring and explains every thing he is doing. Takes the time to put you at ease and answer any and all questions. He never tries to push any procedure or test on you but leaves it up to the patient. When my elderly Mom who had a lifetime fear of the dentist arrived at his office she was so nervous but Dr Lee sat with her and quietly explained that everything would be alright and calmed her right down with his gentle manner. He has also worked miracles with my equally dentist-shy husband. Thanks to Dr Lee and Kathy for making my recent root canal experience as easy and stress free as possible. Over the moon. In the past I have always hated the dentist, but no more. This is a great Dental office, I was able to get a quick appointment when needed, I had previously seen other dentists telling me I would need route canals, and other extensive work, without even an X-ray. But here we addressed what MY priorities were first and come to find out I didn't need much work at all. This dentist is exceptionally friendly and makes you feel very comfortable right away. I went to Lee Richheimer 9 years ago as a child (8 or 9 years old). I feel like he doesn't know how to deal with children. He told me that I had to have multiple teeth pulled and that it had to be done. I was an anxious child and nervous about the dentist, so of course I cried. He just kept saying that it had to be done or else my mouth would be permanently damaged. Not good to say to a child who is already scared of the dentist. Shortly after this, my parents switched me to a pediatric dentist who I absolutely loved. Due to now being 18 almost 19, I have to switch to a general dentist. I don't know where I will go yet, but I know that I will not be coming back here. read more

I had major issues with my teeth back in 2007. 5 of them needed to be filled. other clinics quoted $2000+ to get job done. Lee did absolutely amazing job for less than $500! He scheduled two visits not to put me through too much pain in one day (even tho i didnt feel ANY pain at all!!!) All the fillings still remain in perfect shape as of today, 5+ years later! Lately I started noticing major discoloration of front teeth, couple of them were chipped so I was considering veneers ($1500/tooth). Also needed couple other teeth to be filled. Went to visit Lee to get his opinion and he fixed them all and made perfect white and naturally looking and also filled back teeth for less than $1000! Cant even describe how grateful I am!
