Stopped in for a pumpkin cannoli during the Centerville pumpkin show. We talked to Richie a bit, then he said try the pumpkin one. Richelle and I did, we told him it's going to be a hit, it's like a pumpkin pie in a con oil shell. The he told us the shells come from New York City but he makes all the filling in house. We also tried his regular cannoli, it's very good too, thick filling, creamy and delicious. We return for a sub, but today there are to many pumpkin show things to eat. read more

My first time picking up lunch from here. The staff were rude and the food didn't taste fresh. I ordered a turkey melt and ended up only eating half. It just wasn't good. I had to strand outside in the cold to pick up the food because they are still closed down tight due to Covid. None of the other sub stores or deli stores are this closed down still. My fiancé and I stopped in at Richie's during our visit to Ohio. I love the small town and have tried several restaurants on the strip but Richie's was new to me. The restaurant was clean and had NYC vibes to it (obviously). We told the worker that we liked spicy Italian subs. He recommended the Brooklyn Classic. We paid and sat down. Our sandwich was brought to us promptly. The meat and bread was very fresh tasting and instantly my fiancé and I decided that this was one of the best sandwiches we have had. We also had the opportunity to try a house made cannoli for free because it was our first time in. The only downside I see to Richie's is the price. We paid $21 for one sandwich, one bottle of water, and one bag of chips. Over all I give Richie's a 4.6/5. Good food, good service. read more

Called ahead and order was ready on time. Staff was friendly, minimal interaction. Ordered several different subs, all were very tasty and made as ordered. Everyone liked them! The only issue I have is they didn't have several of the menu listed "deli salads" available.... would have liked to have tried some of them, based on the quality of the subs. Went here today to grab a quick lunch before heading back to work. It was incredibly welcoming and I was greeted immediately. The deli was incredibly clean and everything looked amazing. I ended up getting the Brooklyn and I was not disappointed. Hands down, this was probably the best sandwich I have ever had. The mozzarella was fresh and everything so so delicious. I also got the macaroni salad, and a few desserts to take home for my kids. All and all, I'm so glad this establishment is in Circleville. read more

SEVEN WORDS: TRADITIONAL NY DELICATESSEN / SMALL OVERSIGHTS = BIG FLAWS. . On a small road trip through Circleville, we decided on a new haunt: Richies Corner Deli. . The ambiance is staid, but inviting, with deep red walls and a standard shotgun-style layout: prep on one side, seatin zeeg on the other, split by a long deli counter. . We placed our order at the counter, and then founded a seat at a small table for four. The chef quickly whipped up all three sandwiches while we fetched our sodas and a bag of chips. . We ordered a Roast Beef Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, and a Reuben. While the all three sandwiches were hearty with high-quality ingredients: the roast beef was lean and rare, the buffalo chicken was tender and very spicy, the Reuben also offered tender corned beef and fresh sauerkraut. However, the Reuben wasn't constructed like your typical Reuben; it was more of a simple Corned Beef Sandwich, with cheese, kraut and beef played inside two pieces of untested rye. . Dont get me wrong, this sandwich was still agood and hearty, but the usual Pumpernickel/Rye Swirl of sandwich bread was sorely missed, the Rye wasnt toasted (let alone grilled), and the sandwich quickly fell apart in my hands, like an Au Jus or open-faced sandwich. . This may have been due to the lack of a grill surface, so I'll chalk it up to the newness of the deli, just like the lack of an open Soda fountain (or an ice machine). . The total bill was about as expected: $34 for three sandwiches and drinks plus a small bag of potato chips. Considering the overall quality of the meal, Richie's is above average. The problems with the Reuben and Soda could soon be remedied: that could bring this local Circleville bistro up to a regular Yelper haunt. read more

I was in Circleville way past lunch time, and having driven past this Deli on the way into town, decided to stop and check it out, even though it looked closed. Lucky for me, they were open for carryout, because I had a serious chicken salad sammy craving. The ordering is via QR code currently, but wow that sandwich was nothing short of fantabulous. This is not a place you go if you are in a hurry or strapped for cash. Though the food was good, it took a long time to get our sandwiches. So long, that they gave free cannolis to try and make up for it. The food is also extremely expensive. The bill was $31 for 2 subs, 2 potato salads and 2 drinks. Sub was nothing special. Potato salad was awesome, macaroni and cheddar salad was good. Had my first cannoli. My friend said it was gritty and not great. I thought it was eh ok and ate it. We were passing through and decided to stop, and we were so glad we did. The Deli had a nice selection of deli sandwiches, wraps, salads, and a few sides and desserts. They use Boar's Head Meat, so they use good quality meat. Both of our sandwiches were loaded with meat and cheese on a nice crusty bread that was soft. The potato salad and macaroni salad were both delicious too. He gave us two delicious small cannolis for being first-time customers. So... meeting up with a buddy from Athens and decided to look at the map to see that Circleville is approximately a half way point to meet up at. I pull up my handy Yelp app and simply search for restaurants in Circleville. Some major players in the mass food market come up as the 1st hits but if you look down in the 3rd spot you'll find Richie's NY Corner deli. It's for sure not a franchise and I'm all about supporting the small mom and pop eateries. It's Thursday, plan is to meet up on Friday late afternoon so I call the store and talk to one of the nicest people. I tell him the plan, says if you guys are running later than 5p(the time they close during covid19 reasons) just call ahead and he'll make and have the bag waiting for us as he's there usually well after 530p cleaning the place up. I ask for his name to verify the next day when I call and it's the owner; Richie himself. So around 420p, on our way and I tell him we'll be there before 5p. I order the special, the Buffalo Special which was a warm sliced buffalo chicken, feta crumble, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pepper rings and this creamy buffalo wing sauce... Mmmm, it was so delicious. The lovely mrs ordered that 'Lackluster' which was Honey Turkey, Muenster, lettuce, tomato and a dash of requested honey mustard. Funny part is she ate half her sandwich eyeballing mine and I asked go hers was and she said it was boring? And I was like... 'OMG the sandwich is called the lackluster!?!' Indeed it was and she stated next time we're close to Circleville, she'll have me order for her. So if you've read this far in, if you're ever in the area you've got to pick up some sandwiches from this eatery. Meet Richie, have a nice chat with him or one of the numerous people dropping by to pick up their food. Oh yeah, study the menu and order a dessert with your sandwich. I actually interrupted Richie and asked about adding a dessert to our order because the sign up stated 'cannelloni cream cheese brownies' and who wouldn't want one of those!? Unfortunately they were sold out, but he did add two mini cannelloni a to out order for being a first time customer. If you drop by or call Richie, tell him Dean sent you and mentioned if this was your 1st order you'd add a mini cannelloni to your order. :) and remember.
