Made the trip to Valley Farmhouse Bakery for hot cocoa flights I saw on Instagram, sadly they did not have them and had a coffee flight this month. This was a busy bakery with good looking pastries. They have a drive-thru and walk-in service. There was a cold cooler of custom made cakes ready for pick up. The cakes looked pretty neat! This is a large open space and was cold inside. I ended up getting some items to go because it was too cold to take off my coat. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, peanut butter filled cupcake, a long john donut, and a chai tea. The chai tea latte was good. The rest of the food was meh. I didn't finish eating the rest of the cupcake and the sandwich was very basic and kind of tasted funny. Stopped in before a meeting and picked up coffee and donuts! First off the place is gorgeous, cozy and warm. A place where you can stop in and you won't want to leave! Second, staff were so so so sweet and helped us pick out treats for our meeting! Lastly but I'm sure most importantly, the coffee and baked goods were so so good!! Took my son to Vallery Farmhouse Bakery and we both loved it. The donuts were outstanding, very flavorful and moist. I got the bagel breakfast sandwich with bacon. The bacon was thick which made the sandwich even better. My coffee was great too. The staff was very kind and quick. It was nice to see couples, families, a church group and a variety of people where everyone was welcome. They are accommodating to children with high chairs. Such a fun find in London! The "farmhouse" decor with the natural light and wide, open floorplan makes the Vallery Farmhouse Bakery a really cute place to grab some coffee. Not only was the staff really efficient (and getting everyone taken care of quickly), but the coffee itself was delicious, and the ability to grab a dessert/treat for later is an added bonus! We'll definitely be back for more coffee flights. This was great! PROS: -Coffee and hot cocoa flights! We came specifically to try them out, and Vallery Farmhouse changes out their flavors every month. They were REALLY fun and all of the flavors matched their descriptions really nicely. If you don't have a sweet tooth, go with the iced coffee flight. Even for two people splitting the hot cocoa flight, we couldn't finish it; we were very sugar'ed-out. It was really cool to be able to share a tasting experience like this outside of the world of beer, and it really added a fun, conversational aspect to the coffee. Their flights are served with straws for the number of people as well to keep everything as independent as possible. -Their whipped cream is lusciously thick. It's almost bordering on a buttercream icing consistency. It's impressive and really unique. I highly recommend trying it on something. -The cafe is huge. They really chose a great location. There are multiple coolers of displayed treats and an entire checkout area with trinkets/clothing, but even with that, there's probably 5-10 tables plus some couches for seating. Nothing feels cramped. -So, so, so, so many treats. Wow. Homemade donuts of multiple kinds (filled long johns and RIDICULOUSLY large glazers with icing on top!), cupcakes, brownies, cakes, cake pops, hot cocoa bombs, and more. Not only can you grab a quick coffee, but you can also great a treat for later - to bring a selection into the office. -We saw multiple people picking up bakery orders to-go. Looks like that's probably something they do here often. -I'm unsure if this place has its own parking lot? The sign on the door encouraged us to park at a next-door business. Assuming they have an agreement with them, this makes for ultra-close parking that's about 20 steps from the front door. -Really well-staffed. It's rare that I see this many employees working together so efficiently, and it deserves to be called out. There were 4-6 (I didn't take an exact count) people working at close on a Saturday afternoon. None of the customers had to wait, and coffee was being served up unexpectedly fast for anyone who ordered. Fantastic job staffing. CONS: -The hours are a little rough if you're coming here as a destination. It's probably the right span if you're in London already and want coffee, but for driving in from out of town with a 9-to-5 job, the only workable timespan is on Saturday before 2PM. -The flights are a little expensive at $15-20 for 4/5 taster-sized drinks. However, I know how much work goes into preparing a coffee/cocoa drink - regardless of size, so I'd guess that most of the cost is employee labor. They're probably a pain in the ass to make. -The bathroom is on the "very small" size, and I only saw the one bathroom. Someone with accessibility issues would probably find it very difficult to use, and wheelchair users will find it impossible (the chair won't fit in the room). read more

Popped into this place this morning for this coffee flight. Had to try it. Kept seeing it on Facebook and everything they post looks amazing!! Walking in the place is beautiful!! The farmhouse decor is awesome. They nailed it!! So pretty and so welcoming and beautifully decorated in the country barn look. It did not disappoint. I got the coffee flight. It's $20 but you get 5 decent sized specialty coffees. The flavors change monthly. I liked them all but you rate them in exactly the order they served them in hahah. The salted caramel was my fave. The cold foam was creamy and delicious. I wasn't sure about the candy corn flavor because it's not my favorite candy but it works. And the presentation was awesome. The whipped cream is insanely thick!!! It's so thick it remained it tact flawlessly even after the drink was gone! The caramel apple was delicious. Didn't taste like coffee at all. It tasted like delicious apple cider. The chocolate cake one was super sweet. Almost too much for me to be honest but they nailed the flavor they were going for. My least favorite, which I knew before I went cuz I'm just not a huge fan of chai, was the pumpkin chai. I will say, it did have a good flavor. It's just too much for me. It tastes like my favorite candle smells though hahaha My husband got the show hog drink, hot. It is white chocolate and caramel. It was so good!!! He got a cold brew to go and it was on point. The bagel sandwiches were delicious!! Thick slab of egg with a good portion of bacon and cheese on a bagel. Served all warm and melty. Yum!! We got some long John donuts to go! A chocolate and a maple iced. I heard they serve Der Dutchman donuts but I can't recall who told me that. I have been here several times when I am in London. They have Der Dutchmen Donuts which are always good. But they have an amazing donut you won't find anywhere else. They have a fantastic Fruity Pebbles donut. It is so good. It is a glazed donut with a very good white chocolate icing with fruity pebbles cereal sprinkled on it. They have a few other kinds of yummy looking donuts. I have not tried them but they look great too. I am not especially into fruity pebbles cereal. But this has to be the best donut in central Ohio. They are quite big for a donut. I buy a couple and they last a couple of days. I will add a picture next time I go. read more

We went with Vallery Farmhouse for our wedding desserts and it is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our wedding planner Jennifer from STR Events referred us to Vallery early on in our planning process- and we are so grateful that she did. Our guests absolutely LOVED all of the dessert options. We got a variety of cakes, cupcakes, and buckeyes. The cake itself turned out beautiful- exactly what we pictured when describing it. The cupcakes gave our guests a great variety for flavor options. And we sent folks home with buckeyes as our party favor- but most of them didn't even make it out the door because they were too delicious. The pricing was very fair and the Vallery team went above and beyond to prep the packaging on our buckeyes and to deliver the cake and cupcakes on our big day. We went to Vallery to trial some of the flavors before we made our choices- and that was certainly the most difficult part. The shop itself is adorable and beautiful, the smells inside make you want to eat a 5 course meal of desserts, and the staff was so friendly. All of their cupcakes are incredible and choosing a favorite was a near impossible task. We eventually decided to go with five different cupcake flavors and three flavors on the cake because we couldn't narrow things down any further. I love local and I love to support small businesses, I was super bummed when I entered and no one acknowledged my existence. There was a girl behind the counter and she was doing something and a man came out from the back. No hi, hello, can I help you? I was the only customer there and I guess I thought small business, small town, stay at home order that they would be happy to get some business. It just turned me off. The sugar cookies are delicious and have that almond flavor that I love. They are a bit on the small side. The brownies are huge and decadent, definitely can share or save some for later! They have yummy flavors like Reese's and Oreo and others. It looks like they are moving locations and hopefully the customer service piece can turn around because that was super disappointing. This is a great little bakery with a drive thru! Their cakes and brownies are amazing, donuts are from Der Dutchman and are pretty good. Whoever does their cakes and brownies is very creative! As for the drinks, they have cool hot chocolate bombs... a little pricey but good nonetheless. They've got a great and hilarious list of coffee and non-coffee drinks to choose from; I'm not totally sold on their espresso drinks, I prefer another coffee shop in town for that. Great little family owned local bakery. Stop here 1-2 times a month to get donuts for my work crew. They are very large, cooked right, nice fillings and toppings etc. Everyone is great. Haven't had their cake but I hear good things in town, and they look very nice. They have a cooler and serve fresh coffee, a few sandwiches and other little sweets. Easy to find right on Main, park right out front and they open at 6am so I can get in there on way to work. Clean old wood floors and 'homey' decor with a few tables. This is such a nice hometown bakery. I love Victoria's talent and how beautiful everything turns out. Her strawberry cream is amazing. We have ordered a wedding cake and multiple sheet cakes! I do love the flavor of her icings but her baked goods seem to have way more than they use to! I order light icing and it is still loaded, so be prepared!
