Rick Roush Honda is great!! I came here and spent pretty much all day here without once feeling pressured! Everyone was super nice to me and very accommodating! The store itself is big, clean, and beautiful. The showroom is filled with cars to admire. Then there's an amazing waiting area with a complimentary water, a complimentary coffee and hot chocolate machine, a vending machine for snacks, and even complimentary popcorn! The decor in the area is beautiful. You can relax on the comfy seats, or sit down at the stand and get some work done while waiting on your car. I am writing this review only to warn prospective buyers. They wanted to charge $999 for Cilajet ceramic coating that they said was already sprayed on the vehicle I wanted to get and was done so on the morning of my visit. 1. According to what I was told, this dealership spray this coating on all their vehicles and both buyers and leasers have to pay this $999 fee which cannot be declined. Come to find out, other dealerships spray ceramic coating on their cars and do not charge anything for it and will charge the customers who want the warranty for it. What does not make sense is forcing customers to pay for something they did not choose to get or if you leased a car. 2. If you research Cilajet coating, you will see that this coating has to set (cure) for at least 48 hrs and preferably 2 weeks after the coating has been applied before being exposed to the elements and if according to the salesperson I dealth with, this coating was applied on the vehicle I wanted to get on the morning of the sale, so how did the coating have a chance to cure before I take it home and this winter it has been brutal! Also, according to my experience, if you lease a car here, they might round your first lease payment up to the amount you have agreed to pay monthly even if the amount of that first lease to be paid up front should have been less. Upon pointing it out to them, they said it is because of their computer system and that they are fully aware of this error. Despite knowing this error, they did not tell me of this overcharge until it was pointed out to them. I feel like you really need to know what you are doing before you lease/buy a vehicle from this dealership, well, I guess from any dealership, but, mostly this one, you need to really have your guard up, need to really scrutinise all the numbers and to do your research. I feel like the agent I had to deal with knew what to say to lull you into thinking that she was watching out for you, that she was working her hardest to make sure that she got you the best deal but at the end of the day I feel like she did the opposite. On a happy note, I did get the vehicle I wanted from another dealership 3 months later (after much self-educating myself on how not to get ripped off at a car dealership) and I got a MUCH BETTER deal with almost $6K rebates right off the MSRP of $54K before I even stepped into the building, no begging and no surprise charges. I told them exactly what I was willing to pay after having researched what a dealership is willing to work with on this vehicle I wanted and if they can't work with that then I will not enter the building. For this purchase, I even got the dealership to take $25 off the monthly payment after having decided on the final take home price. And I got the ceramic coating for free as I did not choose to get the warranty. And I got the powertrain warranty for the life of the vehicle free of charge. The salesman I dealt with was a very nice, practical guy who didn't push the sale, he told me everything I needed to know and if he did not have the answer for my questions, he found out the answer for me. The finance manager got me the deal I asked for ( the $25/month off after the final amount was bargained for) and I got $100 (in the form of discount on the total amount) for dinner because I had to wait so long to sign the contract due to them being so busy. Mostly though, I did not feel like I was forced into getting things I did not want and I did not feel like I was hoodwinked. Very happy with my purchase elsewhere. read more

Would not recommend. My parents were all ready to buy a new car with them, and they lost them as a customer FOR GOOD over $800.00!! Couldn't even offer them the $500.00 military discount! What a way to support your veterans! Feel bad for there sales team, they need to leave and go where they can actually sell cars! Obviously this place doesnt want a sale! Scheduled an oil change , tire rotation, and battery check in advance on Honda Odyssey van for 2pm service on July 3. Service rep said he would call on July 3 before closing on status of battery. Never did. Called service on July 5 to check status. Nothing had been done. Vehicle sat in hot sun during that time. Service did complete oil change and tire rotation just before closing On July 5. Service said van needed new alternator quoted $1300 charge for alternator and installation. Took the Honda Odyssey to Conrad's who checked charging system and battery. Only needed a new battery. Honda Customer Service provided no help except to register our complaint with dealer. They said this is an independent dealer and service center. And, the 100 month battery warranty (battery was still in warranty) was only a credit on a new battery. I would not give this service center even one star. I hope this was only an error and not an attempt to take advantage of an elderly lady especially after her taking the vehicle there for service for years. read more

There were 3 employees at their desk and no one ever approached us to ask if we needed help. Lock your doors if you don't want to sell cars at lunch time. I went to a 3rd party service center to have an oil change, but they neglected to fully secure my underbody skid plate. It was extremely tattered and some other parts had broken underneath the car. I took my car to Tony at Rick Roush and assessed the damages and explained to me what exactly had broken and how he fixed it. Always great customer service when I've been in. read more

The service desk is rude over the phone. Very abrupt like they are from NYC. The won't even try to squeeze me in. I guess they have all the business they need. They don't want to listen to problems. I bought a new Honda from another dealer about 30 miles from home! The engine light came on and I opted to go to Rick Rousch Honda for them to look at it! They said the computer needed updated and they fixed it. About 2 weeks later the light came on again, so I returned to this dealer for another quick fix! I arrived at 11:00 am. At 12:15 I poked my head out into the service area and asked how much longer! I was told the whole crew had gone to lunch, and he had no idea!I At 1:00, again, I asked how much longer. I was told they were going through the entire car looking for the problem. At 3:00 the guy came out and said they didn't know what the problem was and I needed to take it back to the place I bought it! He then told me that they had 5 hours of labor in the car and he could charge me $190.00 but wouldn't. I feel that everything he told me was a lie as I was there for 4 hours and everyone went to lunch for one hour leaving 3 hours of possible labor! I told him to stop and put it back together and I would go back to the dealer that I bought it from! It took 15 minutes to put it back together, after he said it took 5 hours to tear it apart! This dealership is not honest at all! I got the impression that if you didn't but your car from them, then they did NOT want to work on it! As a follow up to my adventure, I returned to the dealer that I bought the Honda from and they found a faulty valve in the Emmission System and replaced it! We have been a customer at this dealer for decades...currently on our 5th, 6th and 7th consecutive Hondas, almost all bought from this dealership. In the past, service has been excellent, as is service advisor Jim Klotz. However the past several visits we have dealt with a newer advisor, John. John is very rude and thinks he knows more than you and therefore puts you down. This has been noticed by myself, my wife and my college aged son. In January, my son took in his 09 CRV, for several things to be fixed. They did the things we knew about, and also recommended replacing brakes and rotors, front and rear stabalizer bars, and recommended an alignment as the tires had some slight uneven wear. We agreed and paid over $2000. When my 23 year old grad student son asked for an explanation about the suspension repairs, John said, "Have your Dad call me!". I guess his time was more important! When we picked it up we were informed it also needed rear shocks but they were on backorder. I waited 8 weeks for the shocks, but as they were still backordered, I chose to go to another source for them. When I did so, they told me they needed to realign the vehicle from the shock repairs. WHY DID JOHN NOT DELAY THE ALIGNMENT UNTIL THE SHOCKS WERE REPAIRED??? I had to have another alignment done at additonal cost. Will I return to the dealership for more service...maybe, but only if I can work with Jim Klotz. I will NEVER work with John again. He needs to go, now! Will I buy #8 or #9 there? Maybe, maybe not...we will see. read more

I hate buying cars bc I always feel like I'm getting ripped off. After visiting 5 dealerships I ended up at Rick Roush bc they had best price for the CR-V I wanted. I must admit it was a great experience working with Darcy. But the 5 star rating is due in part to the service I received AFTER the purchase. I noticed the brakes grinding and making lots of noise a couple days after I bought it. I returned to Darcy and she set me up with the service dept who replaced rear rotors and brake pads for FREE. Didn't cost me a cent, which it shouldn't have. That is good customer service. Thank you Rick Roush. read more

Today when I walked in to their makeshift sales office (the showroom is undergoing a major renovation) sales people were hard to find. Two were with customers, one was doing something at his desk...didn't approach me...a 60ish woman alone. Finally, a salesman walks in with his lunch in a bag. He walks over to one of the busy salespeople who is with a couple who have already purchased a vehicle they are picking up in two days (chatting them up)...but ignores me. After standing round for five minutes a male customer walked in and then a couple walked in. Out of nowhere, two sales people approach the single man, completely ignoring me. I've purchased three Accords from this dealership and will never do so again! Their service people are great...they could teach the sales staff a few lessons!!! read more

NEVER NEVER NEVER buy from here, I dropped 21k on a vehicle and the sales manager wouldnt even give me a new floor mat becasue the original had a hole in it! My sales associate was nice, but the dealership and managers are just cheap, they jerked me around on the price vs the internet price, they were less than accommodating, they made me feel very unwanted to the point I almost walked from my car deal. I will never buy here again nor recommend this cheap, subpar customer service dealership/dictatorship to anyone, unless your into that kind of abuse. read more

This is more of a funny story, than a review. I bought a brand new Honda CRV from RR - love the car, no problems so far, good sales team, no complaints. What was funny was when the saleswoman was showing me the features after the sale was finalized - Standard Procedure. She went thru lights, dash functions, on screen menu, etc. - no issues. Then she got to the part when you can sync your phone. I said "Skip that part - I don't have a phone". She looked at me like I was on fire. "You don't have a cell phone?" I said "No, not a fan. I don't need one for work so I don't own one". That should be the end of it, right? Nope. "Well, I'll show you anyways". I said "Don't bother, I am fine". "Well, just in case you decide to get one". I said "I won't. I would rather not waste the time". "Well, you might change your mind in the future, so I'll show you". At that point it was ridiculous. I said "I will never own a cell phone again in my life so I don't need you me how to sync it to my car." She finally accepted this and continued with the walk thru. Yes, I know I am the only human on earth over 11 without a cell phone and that may be hard to believe for some, but come on, if someone says "skip it", then "skip it". read more

We had something hanging from the bottom of our car and they got us in and out in under 20 minutes. They even let our 2 dogs stay warm in the waiting room. Terrible experience attempting to purchase a vehicle via Costco buying program with Tyler Roush. Low balled trade by 35% below KBB value. Extreme wait time in trade value review and then counter offer while there was only one other customer in the dealer. Needless to say we walked and I am confident we will do better elsewhere. We did get a call from General Manager an hour later with apology and attempt to salvage a future deal. A tip for Tyler is to take better care of customer while they are in your dealership. read more

We went to Roush under the direction of Costco's car buying services. They work with certain dealers for lower prices on new and used cars. Costco told us "if the dealer doesn't show you their invoice for the car, and our Costco price list, let us know". Costco did nothing wrong in this process, and they'll be hearing about our experience. The two salesmen we were told to ask for were supposedly busy, so Pat Giorno was who we dealt with, and we told him we were there as a Costco referral. The test-drive went fine, although he couldn't answer many of the questions we had about the car. But when we sat down at his desk again, that's when things went south. Although asked repeatedly, Pat refused to produce either the Costco price list or the invoice for the car. When he did present what he said was the invoice figure, it was higher than the sticker price! We asked him again to SEE the invoice. His response was "Don't you trust me?" Well... no, frankly. Long story short, we told him we didn't appreciate being treated like a couple of kids that know nothing about the car buying process, and we certainly didn't appreciate being lied to... and then walked out. The only way we'll ever set foot in Rick Roush Honda again is maybe to use the bathroom! I gave him one star because he did give us a bottle of water. read more

The salesman, Mike, was very patient with me as I asked a lot of questions about the car I wanted and spent a lot of time negotiating a price I was comfortable with. The process of getting a loan via this dealership was also a positive one. Service Department TERRIBLE. Brought my daughters 2016 Civic in because A/C was not working. Bryan advised me that they would look at it, but if it was damage from road condition, pebbles, etc, the warranty does not cover. I said OK signed a piece of paper and I walked home. (Live 5 minutes) Bryan called 2 hours later and said unfortunately it has from road damaged and not covered. He said it was $808 and gave me a 10% discount. While I was walking back to pick up car he said there was a charge of 169.00 and he lowered it to (i think it was 129.00) for diagnostic. When I got there I was upset because they never verbally told me of the diagnostic fee. He showed me on the paper where it was written, but he never verbally told me. He went to another man and said there was "some mis communication) I explained to the man that I was never told about the diagnostic fee. I have a friend that would have diagnosted it for free, owever I thought it was a warranty issue so I brought it to the dealership. The other man said exactly "well we are going to get no where with her" Really???? Wow?? What about I'm sorry for the confusing. Very unprofessional Will never go back there. In the end they did not charge me for the diagnostic fee. When I got home I called 2 other honda dealers. Both said there cost is $99.00for diagnostic and that there managers would waive the fee under the circumstances. Medinas repair was cost was outrageous. I will be getting it repaired at another dealership. Both dealerships said they will work with me on the cost and will call Honda Goodwill department to see if they can help. They also told me to contact my insurance company to see if it would be covered Unfortunately I live right down the street and how sad, I cant have it repaired there. Really odd experience here. Stood in showroom quite some time and no salesmen were around. Rechecked showroom hours on door to make sure they were open. We checked out one of the cars on the showroom floor for quite some time before anyone came over to help us. Were brought over to a desk were he told us about leasing even we indicated that wasn't an option. Never offered to show us cars on the lot or take a test drive. Didn't push that since we could see right away we didn't want to do business here. read more
