We stopped in on a Sunday while passing through. They have an unusually large place for a pizza place but it was much welcomed. At entry you are met with two classic muscle cars, beyond that they have some arcade games and then the dining area and kitchen. It was fully staffed, with at least two waitresses. We were immediately welcomed and she began taking our order. While waiting some pies went out for delivery. Pizza came out in a reasonable time and she even brought us grated parmesan when requested. Our friends introduced us to this pizzeria while we were in town. The building oozes character and reminds me a lot of my childhood in rural Pennsylvania. Rick's Dough Boys is an institution in St. Marys, PA. As others have stated, the food and service is excellent, and the Mopar memorbilia on the walls is awesome! The front room in the dining area has two 70's era Mopar vehicles parked in the window (the '70 Challenger 426 HEMI is my favorite). It's pretty unusual to see two muscle cars inside a restaurant but I've been to Quaker Steak before so it doesn't really surprise me. Automotive novelty aside though, this restaurant is a pretty reasonable choice for dinner in downtown St Mary's. The taco salad was a decent-sized portion and the complimentary bread was surprisingly good. Service was rather attentive, although I was the only customer at that hour so I can't tell if this will always be the case. Parking is available at the municipal lot next to the building. Their ranch is the best! The raspberry cheesecake is to die for and their curly fries. Strombolis, pizza, and salads are amazing. I love like 100 feet from the restaurant and Omgg does it smell good, very tempting and super mouth watering. read more

We mistenly decided to order wings and two plain ham and cheese subs from Rick's Doughboys tonight. As we all know, you need to check your food when it's a take out. Why? Because they screw you at the drive~through! We sit down at home and the subs are covered with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and A BUG! The owner/manager said, "Everyone makes mistakes." The condiments were a mistake, the BUG is a health code violation. He offered credit for our next visit, sorry, but there will be NO next time. I can get over most "mistakes," but I draw the line at insects in my food. I will never go there again & can only warn others about our experience. read more

Nice place/ decent prices. I'm a big fan of the tacos and taco salad and the pizza is pimp. Best around if you ask me. Service could be much better but it's not bad. Everyone is friendly. Seating was not a problem for 7 of us on a Friday night. Huge strombolis, so get the small if you are eating it yourself. Spaghetti with meat sauce and pizzas were good. Taco salad was of poor quality and taste. Side salads were made of tasteless iceberg lettuce. Quaint place as it is in an old car dealership show room and two nice old muscle cars greet you as you walk in. Overall it is what we expected from a hometown eat in pizza shop. We definitely would go back if we are ever in Saint Marys, PA again. Just as good as Pizza Hut, but more fun. read more
