One of the metal brackets, under the slide, lost ALL six screws and was hanging down about 3-4 inches. Of course.... It's the weekend. This is an important part of the Coach slide and.... This is not good. On Monday, I called Newmar to find an Authorized Dealer. They suggested I call Midway RV in Grand Rapids... only an hour away and it's in the direction we were traveling anyway. Yeaaaa !! The Service staff were very friendly, and helpful. Scheduling with Dave, the Service Mgr, was pleasant. He said... I can't get you in at all today.. (Monday), but probably Tuesday morning, if you can be here by 8:30 AM. I said "Certainly". I then asked if they had room for us to "park & plug-in". Dave said "yes!". Perfect, we will see you about noon today !! We drove up Monday, parked & plugged in, very thankfully. Early Tuesday morning , they had us in and work was completed by 12:00 noon. They inspected both plates and fixed them !! And, we were back on the road feeling sooooooo pleased. Though we were not there to buy an RV.... I would certainly recommend them for RV Service.

I went to Valvoline because my oil light came on, before my car was making a weird noise so when I…read morechecked the oil it was hardly any on the oil stick. I went into PANIC!! I pulled into an Auto Parts store and had it checked, to make sure I was correct, it was confirmed that my oil was extremely low. I had passed Valvoline on Plainfield at I-96 and whipped back to have them take a look at it. I was immediately approached by an attendant, I told him my problem, he said he was on lunch but he would speak to someone and let them know, which I watched as he did. I was told to pull in, and again I explained my problem. Ben was the person who helped me, he told me they would check for leaks and anything else they felt would resolve the situation. He said, "No leaking" it looked good but I did need an oil change (I knew that). I wanted to know the cost, considering I had spent $400 the day before for brake job!! (I shared that info with him). He told me he would "Top off" my oil, check fluids, tires and ALL for FREE! UNBELIEVABLE, at a time when the economy SUCKS and most people are going through 'Ticket Shocks' the word FREE was as if someone threw out a life line. I am a woman, who often feels taken advantage of at most car repair shops and dealer ships, what Ben and the other Staff did for me was Phenomenal !!! Not only did he "Top-off" my oil but he "Topped-off" my attitude, "Let's Help one another Get Through This". Thanks VALVOLINE!!

Bring it to a proper mechanic if you cant do it yourself. cost will be about the same. and if you set it up right, they will do it while you wait in the lobby. AND they know what they are doing. Dont walk away, RUN away. RUN FAR, RUN FAST.

BEWARE READ REVIEWS FIRST! The Belle tire on 28th St. in Grand Rapids is disgusting, dishonest and…read moreapprehensible. initially I bought my tire in because of a slow leak. They could not fix and needed to replace the tire, fine. I agreed to have it replaced with a brand new Pirelli tire, identical to what I had. when I went home I noticed a weird rattling sound underneath my car near the tire that was replaced. when me and my husband got out to look at the tire, not only it was my rim scratched up, the tire looked used and the rattling sound again. The next day we went back to Belle tire and the tech there went under my car and said that two screws were missing from my heat plate and that was causing the rattling noise, (he took pics and showed my husband) he didn't address the tire/rim because it was a Friday and he asked me to bring it back Monday morning. Monday, Antonio, the assistant manager came out to look at the tire and he said to leave the car there (9:30 am) and he would have his advanced tech look at the car/tire. After no updates or calls, we went back to the shop (4:30) only for him to tell me that they didn't find anything wrong with the tire and they weren't aware of any noise, and that his previous tech was wrong. I'm not convinced they even looked at the car again. He totally dismissed everything! At that point I realized the caliber of people at this location, dishonesty and greed.
