Rented the machine for a full 24 hour day plus $90 for delivery and pickup! After they pick up the machine at the end of 24 hours, they later called and to charge me $30 /hr. for the 3 hours that I went over 8 hours! First time I'd been told a day of rent only lasted 8 hours! So $90 more plus $48 for 8 gal. of fuel, plus tax plus 4% processing fee was add to my credit card. Also I was supposed to get the machine delivered first thing in the morning, but it didn't arrive until noon! Not a happy camper with these people!

I ended up getting to a point in said project where I needed more serious equipment versus the typical Home Depot-esque line of rental gear. This is where the Talisman Rental guys at the Canton location saved me. I had called ahead to make sure they had what I thought I needed. When I arrived and I discussed what I was actually doing versus just getting a tool and heading on my way, the two fine gentlemen working advised a better solution and explained why I needed such an item. They helped me load the piece of equipment into my piece of a car, and off I went. I spent the entire evening using the tool so that I could return it the next day. Yes, the machine wore me out, but that's the nature of the beast given the project I was attempting to DIY. Lesson learned. I wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again. They are knowledgeable, courteous, and we ended up chatting about things we had in common. Cool.

I have owned a house in Hiawasse for the last 35 years and rented here every now and then. It is…read moreoften very difficult since they are not open on weekends and close early on Friday. Today was the last straw... I rented a trencher for half a day just past noon and new it would be close for 430, and told them so. I called on my way at 425 and was told I would have to bring it back Monday as she had already closed the gates. When I got there at 435 Donna was there and did nothing but frown at me... I unloaded the trailer, moved the trencher to the door while she walked over and closed the gate with my truck inside. She then told me I owed them some courtesy. The courtesy was that I paid $111.00 for a 3 hour rental with attitude and unloaded it myself!! This will be my last time as they (Donna) simply have no understanding of customer service. They make you feel as if you were doing them a favor to rent from them. Next time I will drive down to the tool rental at home depot in Blairville. The trencher is $30 cheaper, brand new and the lights on the trailer actually work. They also stay open later and on weekends. If you want a business that is 9-5 M-F with no hassles, then get out of tool rental!
