Subject: Customer Service Complaint - Request for Refund and Resolution On September 1, 2025, at approximately 2:15 p.m., I visited Ricky Rockets located at 14640 S. Cicero Ave, Midlothian, IL 60445. I went to Pump #9 to purchase gas and selected the $7 Express Car Wash. After fueling, my receipt showed I had been charged for the $15 Deluxe Wash instead. I immediately went inside to speak with a cashier and requested the difference be refunded or adjusted. The cashier explained they did not know how to do this and called for assistance. A woman named Patti (I am unsure if she is a manager, as she never introduced herself) came to assist. She did not acknowledge me, walked past me, and only after the cashier prompted me to follow did she address the issue. Patti used her card at the pump, stated that the system does not allow for selecting options, and told me I had selected the $7 wash myself. When I explained again that I had not and requested the refund difference or the correct wash, she refused, saying, "I'm not fixing it." I reminded her I am a regular customer, and she responded that I "should know how the pumps work," before walking away. When I asked for the corporate contact number, she did not provide it verbally but pointed to the door where the 866 number was posted. This was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I have ever had. I am requesting: A refund of the $7 difference between the wash I selected and what I was charged. An explanation of how this error occurred. A formal apology for the poor treatment I received from Patti. A review of this employee's conduct, as her behavior was dismissive and unacceptable. twice this week fueling my cars and picking the car wash option the pumps had no paper in the receipt printer at the pump. so then you have to go inside for a receipt. this seems to be a regular occurrence for this store. Delta sonic in Crestwood doesn't ever have this issue seems I need to consider giving them my business. read more

Don't take your vehicle through the car wash. They have a plausible deniability sign before you enter the wash that basically says they acknowledge the car was damages vehicles, but assume no responsibility. Go online and read other complaints at their other locations. All the same. They refuse to cover any damages the car wash causes. The owners are the Heidner family of Heidner properties. The head honcho is Rick who is running for governor. If he is going to treat Illinoisans how he treats his customers, NO THANKS! We have one dirt bag Governor. We don't need another. read more

Lou has a Nasty attitude. Don't try informing them of pump issues and card transactions that are not registering outside. They catch feelings if you ask anyone employed there about your transactions! All the managers have disgruntled looks on their faces. Those employed as regular workers ignore you. Keep in mind the heavy set lady Lou is new to the brood. Already she has an attitude. Never will I ever utilize their car wash in Midlothian, Il again! Overall the location is nice and the people there are friendly. I used their car wash recently and my car came out with multiple scratches. I made a complaint with the manager and did not hear back for two weeks. I went in to get an update and received a call from the manager the next day stating they reviewed the footage and they were not taking responsibility for the damage to my vehicle. She stated she didn't know where those came from. I really didn't expect them to take responsibility because looking at a video vs. actually inspecting your equipment would make all the difference in the world. I'll still buy gas there but I will highly recommend people with SUVs not use their car wash. read more

Bathrooms (women) were the cleanest I have seen in years. I was waiting on my order and made a dash to the restroom. The floor, stalls and sink areas were immaculate...and smelled heavenly--all areas throughout Ricky Rocky were the same. Keep up the good work!!! read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! Their car wash has damaged multiple cars including mine and they will duck and dodge you until you take them to court. Unfortunately this is the route I have to take due to how unprofessional they are. Their car wash ripped off my factory trim and chipped my paint. They have admitted fault on video and over the phone. They have security footage of their car wash causing the damage. They agreed that they should pay for the repairs but have been dodging me since then. Do yourself a favor and go to delta sonic or fullers cuz this place is garbage and the way they do business is the most unprofessional I've have ever seen! read more

Really like the car wash. Liked the variety of drinks and snacks offered. Walked in and then out after seeing cashier holding a dog. Not sure if this is a good idea as they prepare food and touch all products when bagging. Not sure if this is a Board of Health violation. read more

Worst customer service ever Lavinia banks is the cashier I spend almost 9 thousand a yr there and will never come back in again. She runs her mouth and never wants to give receipts. And of course when I went to ask for manager her friend was behind me defending her. Spend your money elsewhere. And then the worker a male was bragging about just getting out the joint. DO NOT USE THE CAR WASH!!! I wish I read the reviews before. I did not make a claim though so I can not speak to their customer service if they would have apologized or reimbursed me so I don't know how they would have handled that. It had huge rocks in there for some reason and found scratches and huge rocks caught in my truck where the step is to get into my truck. Plus it ripped off my license plate bulb and retainer. Almost ripped off my license plate and ripped off my tail light custom cover. The wash was so rough it ripped the screws right out!! It sounded like my truck was being attacked by the car wash literally. Seriously DONT USE THE CAR WASH!!!! As to the customer service on the inside. OMG. I went in there at night and I just needed a bag of ice and took 15 minutes. They guy said oh we are changing shifts so I have to wait to ring you up. It will be about 10 minutes. How do you just STOP your business for 10 minutes every night for a "shift change". It should be fluent so the customer does not have to stand there looking at 2 employees and not being able to be helped. By the time I was able to check out there was 5 people in line waiting after me. It was the craziest thing I ever seen. The employee was really nice about it though and very apologetic. He said it happens like this every night. So weird. I am a store manager myself and would never make my customers wait for 10 minutes just standing there. WARNING: Do not use this car wash. They scratched my vehicle and did not follow up with me after I filed an incident report with them. They only followed up with me after I wrote them a bad review. They scratched my vehicle and then told me that their carwash did not cause the scratch. There is a huge scratch from the rear of my vehicle to the front of my vehicle. I drive a beautiful Cadillac that is now ruined due to this car wash. I am disgusted by their lack of care and will not be back to this car wash ever.
