Our miniature schnauzer is a rescue who was heavily matted after years on the street. He has a mutation that gives him super thin, pure white hair and it matts easily. He had to be professionally dematted. Several months later, after we adopted him, we took him to our normal groomer. They sent him home. He was frantic and they couldn't handle him. We tried twice more with different meds from our vet but nothing worked. We even had the vet try with no success. We'd almost given up and were wondering what to do. Laura from Pride arrived on time and 5 minutes later she was talking to our schnauzer and leading him across the front yard to her mobile studio. She was calm and efficient and with no apparent drama, the dog was perfectly groomed. He came back to the front door clean, calm, happy and looking dapper. Lily is a domestic long hair and the poor thing couldn't not groom herself properly due to the length of the hair. She had matting ALL over that I couldn't get out with brushing. I am disappointed in my experience with Pride Mobile Pet Grooming. I was so excited to get my cat a badly-needed grooming. I loved that I could book entirely over text. The week prior to the appointment, I received a confirmation of an hour-long time slot. I accepted and made arrangements the rest of the day, thinking that confirmation meant they'd be sticking to that time slot. Silly me. The day before the appointment, I got a "reminder" about my appointment - almost 2 hours after my already-confirmed time. I responded thinking it was a mistake and was told (direct quote), "Arrival time adjusted for route efficiency. You did not give us any time constraints." No time constraints were asked for when planning the appointment, or I would have given them. They also can't be that great at planning their routes if they need to make an adjustment of nearly 2 hours to a previously-confirmed time. Why not just give a window of time so people can be prepared for such a large time adjustment? Needless to say, I canceled my appointment and will be looking for a business that is more organized and professional in their communications. read more
