Service is good as they're moving all through the floor and not allocated to one section it seemed. You did have to stay on them about drink refills and passing them your empty cans, plates clearing the table for room as the tables are small and not much room at all. Ambiance was super chill as it's a Puerto Rican surf brewery. Spanish reggae music all around! Not to loud but enough to make it feel more authentic. I first came to Rincón Beer Company on a trip back in 2017, and now I've been visiting the area for the past five weeks. It's been great coming back--this place still delivers a really enjoyable experience. They have a nice handful of vegetarian options, which I really appreciate. I tried the homemade black bean burger--the flavor was excellent, though it could use a bit more texture. Still, everything else we ordered was absolutely delicious. The skinny margaritas were amazing--super refreshing and perfectly made. Another big plus is that they're very dog-friendly, which adds to the relaxed, welcoming vibe. We had a great last supper here, with our cuzzie. It was her last night on the island (we were staying for another few days). We were lucky enough to connect with her during our trip, since we ended on the same part of the island, at the same time. We found parking right down the block. The area is very busy, so parking is at a premium. Our cousin and her friend arrived before us and put names in for a table. We did not have to wait long, once we arrived. The staff was very kind to give us a huge table but since we were only five, we gave the table to another family that had more people, and took a smaller table by the front entrance. It's open air dining which makes for great people-watching. Our server was so nice. I forget his name, but he was telling us about RBC becoming a source of supplies, food and water, for so many, after hurricane Maria. Their menu contains nods to historical events, both good and bad. On the menu, is a bit about their cocktail menu, explaining that is represents the real history of Puerto Rico, a culmination of stories, people, and events that attributed to the growth, endurance, and resilience, of Puerto Rico. Love this. Many of their cocktails are named to highlight culturally significant events, be it about victims of a natural disaster, or celebrities to be celebrated. I stuck to their beer. They have some choice brews so every palate. The food is what you would expect at a brewery. We stuck with burgers, but our cuzzie had the ceviche and loved it. The pork sliders were really good and my kiddo enjoyed her kids burger. I had a plain burger, which was ok, and hubby had the classic with bacon. Cuzzie's friend had the boricua burger, with sweet plantains and swiss. I didn't like my burger patty that much because it tasted very dry and generic but I'm sure that was a one off. They're pretty busy and everyone enjoyed their food. I will definitely come back to visit. We love Rincón, so this is a no brainer. read more

Great beer. Ordered a #12 Saison (ABV 5.7%) which was surprisingly good. 10oz. draft was $5. My girlfriend and I split the Mahi Mahi fish sandwich. On a scale of 1-10, it scored a 9.5. Only complaint was that the inside dining area is warm, but I'm sure the locals think it's paradise. Safe area so you can walk from the "hotel district" or take a taxi. We stumbled upon this brewpub and were amazed at how good the beer was. Craft beer seems to be still in the early stages in PR, but Rincon Beer company is putting out some great beers. I had both the IPA and the Saison and was impressed. The food is also delicious. I had the mahi taco's both times we went because they were so good. Such a great casual spot for dinner and a drink, and overlooking the town square! They offer tons of taps, cans, and bottles, many from local Puerto Rican breweries. So many places we visited had no local beers other than Medalla, so it was great to see the craft beer scene thriving. We tried one of their house-made beers, a porter, which was excellent, very roasty but smooth. The food was a real stunner, too. We shared an order to fish tacos (2 per order), and the fish is super thick, so it filled us up good. These are the best fish tacos I have ever had, in Puerto Rico or otherwise, and we tried at least 5 or 6 different places while visiting the island. There is plenty of indoor seating as well as a nice selection of tables outside. We sat outside and had a nice cat friend wander over to say hi. Rincon Beer Company is a cool little joint with a surfer/bohemian vibe and I really loved it. I was visiting Rincon for the week and jumped in for a quick drink with a friend while we waited for the rain to die down a bit. The bartender was this really cool lady with tats who was so welcoming and funny/sarcastic. She was great to talk to and gave some good recommendations when we sat down. They have a number of beers on tap, but we were told the ginger beer is special and to get a Moscow or Mexican mule (tequila) to taste. The ginger beer definitely had a bite to it and came through super flavorful in the cocktails we ordered. I later switched to a passionfruit beer that I liked just as much and would definitely get again. If you are hungry, get the fish tacos. They taste super fresh and are incredibly filling. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I also got the mozzarella sticks -- which were surprisingly good too. But I guess you can't really go wrong with fried cheese. If you're in Rincon, I definitely recommend swinging through this spot. It probably caters a little more to tourists than the local crowd, but felt like a cool neighborhood establishment where you'll have a good chance of meeting and talking to some pretty cool people. read more
