Honestly really disappointed placed an order before they get a rush, learned my lesson about timing with them before. However today was a total of almost an hour of waiting to pick up and Mobil order for a pizza and wings. Saw lots of others walk in and out with Mobile orders. And watching the staff just standing talking acting like there's was nothing to do so they had to run around finding side jobs to do. When they don't even ask us what we are waiting for when we move to be more in view. Finally came up to us asking again what the order was again told them and suddenly they pulled it out and it was one of the pizza sitting on top of the oven since we walked in! Like seriously the order was done and we had to wait till it was a convenience to look for a mobile order. Like okay. Working in this shopping center, it's hard to find things to eat for lunch. I usually eat ricos only out of convenience. My go to is a personal pizza and I have to get white sauce because the red sauce just isn't good. The pizza I select with my personal toppings, isn't bad and they actually have decent tasting ranch here. That is why I give it 2 stars. I've worked nearby for years and unfortunately, most of the people who work there lack customer service skills and seem like they don't want to be there. Not many friendly people. Service is also super slow, making it hard for use to get our orders in time for lunch. I've tried burgers, pizza, wings and fries, cheese bread, onion rings, tacos.... the salsa on the tacos appeared to be something from a jar with no flavor and tacos as a whole left me unsatisfied. When ordering pizza bread or onion rings, I was given a container of "marinara" sauce and it was just super thick, tasteless pizza sauce that won't even stick to your food. If you dip, it just leaves a crater in it where you tried dip it. Burgers are just ok. I've had multiple bad experiences over several years. Put an order in 15 mins before my lunch, only to go pick up and the ticket was still sitting in the printing machine, because they overlooked it and had no customers after me. Ordered a large pizza to take home, along with wings and onions rings. Waiting 25 mins to be handed just a pizza. Told them I had other items and they took pizza back out of my hands to figure out what went wrong. He came back and asked my name again and then disappeared for 15-20 more mins without a word. I'm guessing he had to go make the rest of my order and didn't even tell me and then had a completely different person give it to me, with no apology. They never take care of your for their mistakes. Last time they wanted to charge me 50 cents for ranch after I completed my order and was picking up. My experience at ricos pizza was a 10/10. I was given great food and the girl who had sharp black eyeliner was very friendly and polite with me. She asked me if I needed anything else and was overall being a great server. When I asked for a to go box, she brought me one and even placed my food in the box for me; which usually doesn't happen when I eat here. I dont remember her name but she definitely made my experience better and I will be coming back more! read more

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS. Got the cops called on because we refused to move tables that apparently were "reserved" yet there was no sign or anything indicating that it was reserved! Sunday we go at 12:30 to watch the football game, we paid 80$ For our food (mind you they didn't tell us anything when we paid or when they brought us the food they saw us sitting down at those reserved tables!!) then went and sat down. An hour or so passes by as we are eating and enjoying the game when they tell us that we have to leave the table go give it up to the party that reserved it. Why do we have to move if we are paying customers too and there wasn't ANY sign indicating it was reserved. They ended up calling the cops on us for this so for obvious reasons we were not going argue with the police over a table. They also banned us from ever coming back because we didn't want to give up our table that had no sign or even a simple heads up that it was reserved. We just wanted to keep the table it was a mistake on there end for not telling us in the begging that it was reserved at a certain time!! This isn't the only place in Turlock that serves pizza wings there are much better and professional places to eat at. Please avoid this place and don't support a business like this!!!! SECRET SHOPPER AND THIS PLACE FAILED I never reveal myself but lines are crossed and people have the right to know. I could put zero stars I would. Rico's is known for a great family night out. My advise is if their pack do not eat here. As Secret Auditor I love to go in looking a little comfy, to my surprise I would never thought the staff would be so careless to its customers. Not only was my food late but myself and daughter felt discriminated , it's a shame , I never thought this staff would be so disorganized disrespectful. Children should never be moved to the bar. Nor should a small party be disrespected over a bigger party. CHILDREN AHOULD NEVER BE ASKED RO SIT AT BAR. These people asked a mother and child to move to the bar to finish the meal we already started and paid for for a bigger party to decorate. Craving some oily food at night but the options were limited. Apparently this place stays open somewhat late and this decided to check it out. Their beer on tap is limited so I went for some angry orchard instead. Ordered the garlic fries and some classic wings. The garlic fries were good, just hope the bottom fries had more garlic. Seems like they added the garlic to the top only. I'd suggest they shake the whole batch so that they all get some of that garlic goodness. Also had the spicy and BBQ wings. They were actually pretty good. It has ample seating and this is definitely a family friendly place with arcade games. You have to order at the front with the cashier and then they'll give you a number. The cashier at the time was friendly but that's about all the service you get. They don't check up on you afterwards or anything like that. They do bring your food to the table and clean up when you're done. For me personally it's not a place I'd probably go back to because there's just too much going on. You can't really watch sports because kids are running around and they even have a jukebox for ppl to play music so if you're trying to watch a game and someone comes and plays music you won't be able to hear the game. Can't really hold a conversation without raising your voice and it's just not a place for me. Horrible service! I order over the phone, i was told between 15 to 20 min, i got there 23 min after, place was empty, one customer came after i got there. I waited 15 min more to get my order without anyyy customers there. I noticed they put my pizzas in the oven when i got there. Why are you taking orders over the phone then??? Wouldn't buy another pizza again from Rico's. Called at 8:55 p.m. for delivery and was promised the pizza would take 40 minutes to be baked and delivered to my door. One hour and five minutes later the pizza showed up at my door and I sat down to eat it and it was stone cold and dried out since it was overcooked. The crust was not cooked and was not fluffy and white but gray and doughy and the sauce was like red mud. It was very unappetizing and I ate a piece and put it down. Nasty. I called the store today and the management would not give me a full refund and they said only a ten dollar credit coupon for a next purchase ! As we waited, an employee came up to us about about five minutes later to tell us they were out of mozzarella sticks. Bummer for sure. He offered jalapeño poppers and macaroni bites. Went in for dinner for someone's birthday , my salad had black ends and soggy lettuce made another one and brought back another that had the same problem . The guy took it to show what I was assuming was his mother , was picking through it went to put more dressing and brought back the same salad ! Watched him do so and when he brought it back I told him you just brought back the same salad and he said nothing and took it back . Also made a huge deal over a refund of 5 dollars . Went in the back talking badly about the situation in front of us and then didn't apologize on top of that my wings were completely cold and soggy as of being in the microwave but after the ordeal over 5 dollars I decided to not say anything about the wings . I wouldn't trust the food here . It doesn't seem they care about health or customers, pizza was dry , hardly any sauce , & no flavor in the Pepperoni . And I paid over 30 dollars for a small personal pizza and 12 wings , how ? I'd rather buy little Caesar's or a frozen pizza before ever going here again. They brought the wrong food to our table , and tried to put a hot tray of pizza in front of my 11 month old daughter and I had to grab it immediately . we've been going a couple of times to Rico's pizza and only ran into one problem with my nephew his head got stuck in between the horse game and he almost had his neck snapped we reacted quick and saved him food is always a 5 out of 5 but Customer service was bad that day it happens they said it was are fault it happend I have video proof of it happening. read more

Taste test: The crust is tough and chewy, dry, horrible. Cheese is only ok thing on this. Too salty, my God, they dumped a whole salt shaker on here. Ive never had bad pepperoni until now, its so thin, almost transparent and very spicy. Hardly any sauce. Not NY style, if you serve this pizza to New Yorkins, they'll cus you out. You get a visit from Tony Soprano and he wont be nice. Even though Tony is a Jeresy boy. Time: 40 minutes wait time. Fine they had a party, but 40 min for a 10 minute pepperoni pizza, is too long. Don't waste your money. We were very disappointed with this place. Our pizza was super pricey (for a half cheese half pep size "grande") and it tasted like cardboard. Not worth the price at all. Go grab a $6 Little Cesar's instead, it'll taste better and save you $$. Aside from the underwhelming pizza, the place was filthy. Which is weird because it looked like there were about 7 people working and only a few customers, so they could have easily been keeping the place clean. Maybe if they weren't so busy chatting behind the counter they might have had more time to clean the sticky unsanitary floors and tables.
