The meal was setup as a buffet and the staff members were quick and kept the lines moving smoothly. Then I get told that "no we don't want to do business with you." So, I am sorry if your child was in the hospital, but running a business have a little more business compassion about returning emails and calls. Then don't just say , nope we won't be doing business with you. If you would have just replied and said we are dealing with personal issues, I could have moved on and called someone else.
