Polar opposite to another jeweler we had previously worked with - took over six months to get a resized ring back and cost multiple times what they quoted. I've gone thru Riddle's for resizing my gold & MT sapphire engagement ring, to resizing my Costco platinum & diamond wedding ring. I lovingly inherited my Husband's Great-grandmother's wedding ring. Chipped diamonds needed to be replaced & platinum added for resizing. I only trusted Riddle's w/ such a heartfilled task. Platinum isn't available in Missoula & needs to be sent out to another MT city, so be patient. My rings have always been returned under the estimated time & sometimes under the estimated cost. read more

they had some beautiful jewelry on sale for 50 % off. i bought alot of that. the remainder of the store was 30% off. they had cut lab created and natural diamonds not made into jewelry. lab created are essentially the same stone. the jewelers can tell the difference because the lab created are flawless and less cloudy. i dont know why people prefer natural. people die digging that stuff up and think of the loss of fossil fuels. i want to get gems and jewelry so if our dollar devaluates to nothing i will have tangible assets. gold and jewels will never be worth nothing. read more

I had the worst experience of my life in this store. I have never been treated the way that I was treated here. Needless to say I will not be back. That is truly unfortunate because I bought three rings from Riddle's since 2018. I always was respected and respectful until Nov 2020. The most unfortunate part about it it was my wedding ring. The breakdown in communication was so bad that I had to drive all the way to Riddles in Butte Montana to finally be taken care of and was taken care of the same day. Beware going here! I was threatened with slander for my last review but I've never slandered the store, not once. I only speak from my true experience here. I will not back down or be silenced. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this place of business & its employees. I had called all around town trying to find a place to get my wedding rings set together into one ring. This was the only place that DIDN'T charge an arm & a leg, tell me they would have to ship my rings out of state, or say it was going to take 4-6 weeks for me to get my ring back. It took 24 hours for me to have my wedding ring back on my finger & the employees were some of the nicest people I had ever met. My ring didn't come from Riddles, but it's nice to know that I can go to them if I ever have any issues. All of my jewelry will come from Riddles from now on!! read more

Not very impressed. Their customer service is terrible. They will tell you anything to get a sale and then are unable to deliver on time. They use a company to approve or deny checks that has no access to your credit rating or checking account and basically uses a coin toss to determine if checks are good or not. Wont take a check even when they have to order and your item won't be in for weeks. Poor business model. Whatever you do DON'T order anything. If they have it great. Otherwise move on. We ordered my wife's Christmas present on December 3rd and were promised it would be in before X-mas. Well Christmas came and went and we were then promised the last week of December, then by Jan. 8th for sure. Next it was by the 14th and most recently they promised it would ship, from back east, the 18th of January. Enough, had they been honest to begin with we would have walked down the mall to the next jeweler and found what my wife wanted and she would have had her X-mas present by X-mas. We finally cancelled the order yesterday and will now have to start Christmas shopping all over again. Thanks Riddle's. Funny part is when we first starting looking for rings they told us they could re-size the one she liked in about 2 hours and we could pick it up that day. read more

Not to say we had a limitless budget, but we hadn't really talked about a price cap during either visit and even with that they didn't try to force the most expensive options on us. My fiancé and I had a lovely experience with Marsha, and all of the jewelers at Riddles. Marsha helped my fiancé find the perfect ring and get it sized. One of the diamonds came loose and was lost by accident, and the team wasted no time in replacing the diamond and rechecking to make sure my ring was flawless with ZERO charge!
