I'll start off by saying I don't own a motorcycle, yet, however this place is THE place to be if you are a motorcycle enthusiast. This is NOT a typical "biker's bar" ... this is a high-end establishment with business owners and well-to-do as the main clientele. These are owners of Ducatis, BMWs, Triumphs, and the likes. It's a combo repair shop (which is immaculately clean you could practically eat off the floor) and also a lounge/bar, and yes, MEMBERS only. The space is large and set like a nightclub/lounge with a state of the art stereo system, 3 tvs, a glass encased repair shop that showcases the high end motorcycles in there, couches, bar, full kitchen, beautiful bathroom equipped with shower, one-of-a-kind artwork hanging throughout, mood lighting, and more. If you are a member (or accompany a member) you can frequent one of their Thursday night parties which is filled with a cool mix of people, great vibes, music, bar, and model types galore scattered about. Ride Studios is a motorcycle repair shop/event space/social club located in a loft-like warehouse in Wynwood. In addition to the bike services, which are performed in a glass enclosed cube in the middle of the space, Ride offers a social component as well. Supposedly it is members only, but last night they were open to the public during art walk. The space features a bar, pool table, DJ, lots of sofas and a half dozen custom Ducatis, exhibited like sculptures. The crowd was a hip mix of Euro bike enthusiasts and the women who love them. As a Triumph owner I can appreciate the concept, but I'm not sure if this is a serious commercial venture or just a vanity project. My limited edition bike was stolen from this place and Chase opened up a police investigation with the city of Miami "ONLY" after I came looking for it! I left my Limited edition bike in Chase's hands. I was convinced he could do the upgrades/ repair work after he showed me around the shop and talked about his technicians and the many years of experience he had working with high end motorcycles. I was impressed to say the least! I especially enjoyed the social nature of his shop and what he was trying to do with it. I was so caught up in the "white glove" treatment my bike and I were about to receive, that I didn't do my homework on Chase until after my bike was stolen. When my attorney pulled his extensive criminal rap sheet and we began to look at his past history, did I only understand that I was dealing with a skillful crook. In my stupidity, I paid up front for the upgrades and repairs so Chase could purchase the parts required. Despite repeated inquires, I still to date have no record that my bike was actually worked on. I have no pictures of the work being completed or the bike once it was finished despite the multiple requests for both. Yet, Chase had my bike for a significant length of time and dodged me anytime I came around looking for it. - When I left a plethora of Voice Mail messages at the shop or on Chase's personal cell phone, they went unreturned. - When I did manage to catch him on the phone at the shop, I was apologized to profusely and we would arrange a time and date to meet there and view my bike. Needless to say, Chase blew me off on those occasions and left me hanging out in front of Ride Studios waiting for him. Undeterred, I put the heat on Chase over a 4-month period, constantly stopping by at odd times unannounced, never catching up with him. It was only after my brother-in-law stopped by the shop for me on one of his several trips to Miami, that he was able to confront Chase and questioned him about my bike. Obviously caught off guard, Chase told my brother-in-law to return 40 minutes later because he was busy at the moment and when he did return, they could go see my bike together. Twenty minutes later I received a phone call from Chase telling me that my bike was stolen, he had opened a police report and gave me the number for his insurance company. WTF? When I asked Chase how this could happen, or if the police had any leads, I was informed that the shop was broken into and the police did not have any suspects in mind. Yet my bike was stolen from Chase's high end shop with that HUGE lock on the door and cameras all around. Yet he doesn't have a photo of the guy that did it or any leads to provide the police with. Laughable. I instructed my brother-in-law to stop by the Miami Police Department to get a copy of the police report. What it says is shocking. My bike was stolen 3-months ago according to the report. 3-MONTHS AGO!!!!!!!!! How can any reputable business operate that way? How can I lose my personal property in his shop, on his watch and not be informed about it until many months later??? Again... WTF??? I contacted my attorney to deal with this on my behalf. The first thing he did was pull a criminal history report on Chase. The rap sheet is lengthy,... be prepared he says to me. I was dumbfounded and disappointed. The words, Fraud, Embezzlement, Lost License in Colorado to own a Motorcycle shop, Arrested on several occasions, goes by different names, etc... left me speechless!!!! For all I know, Chase collected my money upfront for the upgrades/ repairs and then parted my bike out for extra $$$, never planning on informing me of my loss. That's what I'm going with until Chase can prove otherwise. Thus, my waring to you: Don't let yourself become a victim. Do a back round check on this guy. Save yourself from the grief I've been through and I'm still going through. Figure out who the real owner of Ride Motorcycles in Miami is before leaving your property in his hands. Don't be forced into my situation. I am now resigned to working with their insurance company through my attorney to recover my loss with no actual hope of actually recovering the value of my bike or the $$$ I gave Chase for the upgrades and repairs I wanted completed. As good as it gets! Brought my Ducati 1098s in there for service and was very happy with the quality of work. The Manager/Owner (not sure) is very nice and down to earth. The mechanic, although young, is very knowledgeable and meticulous especially with the Ducati's. They even gave me a discount on my bill. I will definitely be a return customer. read more

This bike shop goes well beyond the average bike shop. They are open in the afternoon and evenings, after most shops are closed. The workshop is behind glass so you can watch the work as it happens. The mechanic is friendly and fixes everything from vintage bikes to race bikes and everything between. They offer repair, maintenance, performance tuning and customization services. The level of service is fantastic, the attentiveness to customers is excellent, and their general attitude is top-notch. There is a wealth of information to be learned in this shop if you leave your ego at the door. Ask some questions and learn about your ride. What to expect: - no price gouging - shop is well maintained and spotless - they go over the details - ensure your bike is safe - take their time to go over the bike with you - treat their customers with respect The rest of the building is a very comfortable lounge area with TVs, leather sofas, and a pool table. I'm not one to go to a place just to see if I can see famous people or to feel important but I have heard that Ride studios is the best place to be seen if you are into that. ( Rich guys & Models) I also heard that it was near impossible to get a reservation for bike service unless you had done it days in advance. I managed to bypass all that because I know one of the Models that works there. I have a Ducati street bike, and a R6 for the track that needed servicing. This place has taken the motorcycle shop, and service to new highs.. Mechanics that know their craft, and VIP service. Simply the best.. read more

Hands down the best Motorcycle shop. From the very first call I was treated like family. It was extremely easy to make an appointment. They picked up my VTX 1300 on time. As soon as you walk into the shop you get a sense that this is a special place. The people there are very cool and they take care of you. I had to bring back the VTX because the issue was not resolved the first time. The mechanic initially misdiagnosed the problem and the manager DID NOT CHARGE ME for the extra services and parts (which surpassed $400). The owner (Chase) personally took out my VTX and ensured the problem was finally resolved. This place is not just a shop but a club. This is the kind of place where you can put down your wallet and go to the bathroom, come back and your wallet is still there. Their pricing is reasonable and they work with you. I won't be taking my VTX anywhere else, even if they raise prices. read more
