He was mindful of safety, very patient as we learned how to ride the segways, and was super knowledgeable. He was given an extra challenge as a large music festival was in town. He made the necessary adjustments and ensured that the tour was still fun and interesting. I highly recommend the tour. Ask for Jack as a tour guide if you want someone who is fun, professional, and knowledgeable of Chicago. The segways are tricky to get used to but once you've had some practice time (included as part of the tour), it gets easier and more intuitive. This will be my third year as a three day rider for CowaLunga. As someone who has ridden in other…read moremulti-day charity rides, I can attest that this one is top notch! There are routes available for all levels. Do as little as 18 miles or ride all three days. You will feel an amazing sense of accomplishment at the end of a 190 mile bike ride. All routes are great, but I recommend considering the 2 or 3 day option. With a little training, it is an attainable challenge for even beginning riders. It is a well-supported ride. You will have fully stocked rest stops along the route, SAG vehicles always checking on you, and medical staff available should you need it. If you choose to do 2 or 3 days, your registration fee includes lodging. The first stop being in Lake Geneva at Conference Center Point and the second overnight being at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. You will have a bed! You don't have to camp, sleep on air mattresses, or pay extra for a hotel. Your registration also includes two meals each day. The route is well marked with interesting places to stop along the way. And the minimum fundraising commitment is not daunting - it is very achievable. Spend 3 days riding your bike in the summer warmth while riding up into scenic Wisconsin, all while raising money for healthy lungs and clean air........how can you go wrong!

Danny and Chuck and the bike I requested ready to go when I arrived, gave me a very helpful overview of the bike's controls and modes and then turned me loose. In and out in 10 minutes and they even gave me a frozen bottle of water to throw in my pack. Given the temps this weekend in the upper 80s I was super thankful to have that a few hours later. Bike was great, I am 6' and 155 pounds so not the biggest guy but I had no problem putting 400 miles on it over a few days on highways and in city traffic. Great ride. Drop off was a cinch as well, even quicker than check out. I can't wait to come back and rent again from these guys! One of the best Eagle Rider locations I've been to. Highly recommend!!!

I feel like I got sold unneeded liability insurance - I thought they said it was included in the VIP insurance package I bought. Several people including me did not get the bike they requested. Plus the Street Glide I got had a horrible windscreen that had bad distortion in the top third - very annoying and dangerous. It also did not have a heel shifter that they come standard with. The place seemed overrun by two tour groups plus a third small group renting bikes. Not the personal service we had received for previous ER tour pick ups.

Then you are forced to wait for the next one in hopes that it shows: the buses are dirty and riders are allowed to smoke and play their phones at high volume. The drivers do nothing to enforce the rules. And about once a month to every other month you get a rude driver who will talk to you like you are dirt. A change in management is needed.
