The Bri is no longer the wonderful place it was two years ago. I just moved here from AZ one month…read moreago. Nothing is the same as it was when I visited last October. An entire new leasing staff. LINSAY IS NOW GONE, leaving the two leasing ladies without training. The first week I was here, the pool was shut down for some sort of repairs, our water was turned off for some testing, the garage doors didn't work for three days, we needed to park outside of our building. After a rain storm there were walls & ceiling leaking on the 5th floor. I actually made a phone call to Linsay, to ask about roof leaks, because of my experience in AZ. As it turns out she completely lied to me. A neighbor resident here on the 5th floor told me it's been leaking for the past two years. I signed my lease agreement April 28th on their IPOD. I still have no copy, & have no idea what amount I am to pay within one week. One reason is they no longer had a printer that worked, the leasing agents needed to wait until Greystar brought in a new printer. They have the new printer now, but I still have no copy of my agreement. Brighton then turned this property over to Greystar Property Management on May 10, 2023. But, Greystar jumped the gun, turning computer programs off, before May 10th. Two long term employees that the residents loved walked off the job. Another problem, in the mail room there are lockers that Amazon delivers packages to, which has not been working for the past month plus, because our leasing agents don't have the password to set anyone up. After the Activities Manager walked off the job, we no longer have "any activities" right now at all. Also two days breakfasts have been taken away, with another person leaving this "Greystar family". Brighton & Greystar did not do, their do diligence by getting ready for this merger. One lady in leasing is sweet but she is on loan from Brighton corporate, she is lacking many many answers. Stephanie, the new manager is also learning the Bri senior living way, but now having to learn the Greystar way. Both ladies moved here months ago from different states. Communication is poor to say the best, more like "non existent". Bri employees didn't know what was happening, & certainly not the residents. Okay, now here is another real kicker, I have "BIRDS" living in my bathroom ceiling, it appears to be a family/families they chirp all day long, as well a scratching the metal, or drywall right at the air vents, assuming building nesting. This is in my master bath, I can no longer use that room, I have the door closed. I taped the birds on my phone, told Maggie (on loan from a Greystar property in Seattle), & as well as Stephanie yesterday at around 2:30-3:00, Stephanie told me they only use One exterminator for the company & it appeared the employees left early for the Memorial holiday, I called again today, she said they are still not answering. So I will be living with CONSTANT BIRDS IN MY BATHROOM FOR AT LEAST 5-6 days. I wonder if there was a fire or flood, would that need to wait 5-6 days for the holiday too or is that an emergency? Needless to say, this is by FAR, THE WORSE & MOST EXPENSIVE MOVE I HAVE EVER MADE, I have been seeing several people move into the building within this past month. I can't help wondering how annoyed the new residents will be, without any of this as a prewarning. Do yourself a favor pass on Bri @ Village for now, as it is a total mess!

We found RedTail within days and were able to move in within a week with our two kiddos and dog. RedTail made an extremely tumulus time in our lives a lot easier. The maintenance men are incredible, kind, and courteous, the office staff are super nice and understanding, and completely fair with giving back a reasonable amount of our deposit. The pool and communal areas are gorgeous and well maintained, the rental units themselves spacious and up to date... I truly have nothing negative to say. We were pretty skeptical and hesitant to move back into an apartment after being in a house for years, but hindsight, there are no regrets and we're happy to have found them! The only thing to be cautious of, is if you have young school age children, the community does have a little gaggle of bullies with a ringleader, that made my oldest not want to play outside for the last 7 months we were there, but that's the parents responsibility, not the complexes.

I moved in April 2023, and moved out June 2025 and lived in unit E107. I'll just be blunt and try…read morenot to add any fluff to the review. First, all the units on ground floors have the AC units directly outside every bedroom window.. The noise from having four AC units running means you'll never be able to open your bedroom window without hearing them all. Even with the window closed it's fairly loud. Major design flaw by the builders. After my initial lease expired, the management raised the rate, which is normal for a complex to do once you go month to month. The amount wasn't by a couple hundred of dollars, which would seem reasonable, but instead was raised to approximately $3200 per month (single occupant in a one bedroom) this amount wasn't nearly DOUBLE what I was paying. When I spoke with management about it, their explanation was that they don't have many people out of lease, so this was their way of forcing a lease renewal to bring the monthly payment back to normal. Kinda ridiculous. Next is the noise issues. I was positioned near the pool and playground area, so kid noise was expected. I complained to management about a large dog that lives on the top floor of G building, that barks throughout the day while it's on the balcony overlooking the courtyard. when I brought up the issue to them, they said they were aware of the problem since other tenants also complained. This issue never got handled and the dog still barks continuously throughout the day. the neighbors directly above my apartment had a toddler and dog. The walls in these apartments are very thin. I heard every step that kid took, every laugh or cry he made. Ii could even hear their dog's footsteps. I am NOT exaggerating with this point. I could hear conversations as clear as day though the walls (not just the upstairs neighbors) I left notes for the neighbor, as well as banging on the walls constantly. The neighbors couldn't care less and the noise was the primary factor in moving out. You will hear traffic noise from State St., such as emergency vehicle and drag racers. This wasn't a big deal for me since it wasn't constant noise, and just happened periodically. I have lived in apartments for a lot of my life, and I would never come back to this one. I would have moved out sooner, but timing and life events didn't make that possible. The only positives for living here was being very close to amenities. If this is not important to you, I suggest renting elsewhere.

If a restaurant forgets to charge you for fries, they don't call and threaten to send you to collections. This office forgot our move out date, then proceeded to email why we haven't moved out. Of course we must go there in person because no one from the office will walk up to the fourth floor without an elevator. They charged us an additional $332 after we moved out because they couldn't read the notice to vacate that they typed themselves. Stay away from Regency at River Valley, Bach Homes, and FourSite property management. They only care about screwing you into an apartment that isn't what you agreed to. If you complain, they will push you out.

The elevator is constantly down, they will try to say it was fixed (lie) so you have to put in a work order daily. Packages ger stolen so you better have an alternative friend to send them to pick up. All of the so called amenities are constantly closed or simply unusable when open. The property is never properly cleaned. To top it off if you complain (heaven forbid you expect what you pay for) they decide to not renew your lease. My mother, despite the horrible conditions of this place did not want the stress of moving again so soon but oh well. Personally I'm happy she's getting out of there! She has lived in a few apartments in different states across the country and this is by far the worst managed place ever in treatment by the staff and maintenance.

This is my first apartment and they have made it feel like home, Amy and Nikele in the leasing office are always so sweet and there to answer any questions you have! One really amazing factor about this place is how well it is taken care of, the pool being cleaned every morning, people cleaning up, gardening and it also feel so safe! The maintenance staff is so responsive too, if anything is wrong you just call and they will be there! I am very happy that I picked here to live and I can see myself staying here for a while!
