I could feel a great vibe as soon as I walked into the AMC movie theatre where they worship. I was greeted and welcomed with smiling faces who share their Faith and love for Jesus! The worship band was great and pastor Jeremy has great energy and delivered a fantastic message. My spiritual vitamins were filled for the week! Based on that mass I deduce it is meant to appeal to the bicultural cohort (to which I belong). Lovely to see full families, children, teens, young and mature adults there. I give it a 5+ star rating especially because it angers me someone gave it a 2 star rating because it has mainly Spanish services a a few English. For that alone it should get 10 stars for being an island of refuge for many in a sea of Anglo-oriented ministries. Considering this is one of the most diverse areas of the US, it puts the other local churches to shame for their lack of inclusion of the Spanish-speaking community's needs.

I accidentally went to one of the Spanish masses & their congregation is HUGE & very well represented. By comparison, the one English speaking mass at 5:15pm on Saturdays, has sparse membership, with not more than maybe 20 in attendance when I went. Still, if you're nearby & don't have a car, this is probably the only Catholic church within walking distance. *TIP: English mass at 5:15 pm on Sat.! (Supposedly, the Sunday 10:45 am mass is bilingual.)

The congregation is on the small side, so we are never lost in a sea of people, or unable to make connections. I'm guessing there are generally between 70 and 140 people who come on any given Sunday. We are often away on the weekends, so cannot be at church every Sunday, and appreciate that we are welcomed warmly and never made to feel badly for not coming more regularly. If you wonder why I am posting this, I just happened upon yelp when I was searching the church online and saw that there is just one review. I thought back to how big a task it felt to find a church in the first place when we moved here. I searched online, knowing Baptist was a solid starting point, and found 3 in a radius around our home. One had no info on their website, and the other looked like it might have last been updated 10 years prior. Not really acceptable in this day and age. GBC had a good website at the time, so we gave it a try and were so pleased to find we were led to the right church on try one! If you are searching for a church, regardless of whether you are a strong believer who is firm in their faith, or one who just doesn't really know what they believe, I assure you, they will welcome you, but also release you. You'll have an opportunity to share your contact information on a card you drop in the offering plate. If you share it, but also note that you don't want to be contacted, they will honor your request. If you share it and ask for more information, they will absolutely follow up with you (but not hound you!). It is truly a Christ filled church. There are young families, singles, older families, elderly, multiples races represented in the congregation. You will fit right in :-)

The spirit of love in this church has deeply touched my family. GBC welcomes everyone. The members serving in the Children's Ministry are loving and sincere. I have twin babies in the nursery, a toddler, and a Kindergartner and I am thrilled with the classroom setting and age-level appropriate BIble teaching that my children receive every week from patient, caring, and loving volunteers. The worship service is from 9:30-10:30 and is followed by a 30 minute visiting/coffee/snack time (snacks are provided). Then from 11-12 children and adults can attend Bible classes - all of which are all wonderful. My husband and I look forward to the adult Bible class every week. It is one of the best we have attended. I cannot say enough about how much we love this church and look forward to Sunday mornings . This church is firmly rooted in Bible teaching and a genuine love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is extremely family friendly and the genuine spirit of the members speaks for itself.
